The Director Enablement is a senior leader responsible for architecting and executing the strategy that fuels predictable, efficient revenue growth at 8am. You will define the vision, frameworks, and operating rhythm that empower our go-to-market teams to consistently win—through world-class onboarding, role-based training, content systems, coaching programs, and revenue technology governance.
This role is both strategic and deeply hands-on. You will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, RevOps, and Product to elevate performance across the full revenue lifecycle. You thrive in environments of high growth and transformation, bring strong executive presence, and know how to turn complexity into simple, scalable systems. Your leadership will materially influence productivity ramp times, quota attainment, pipeline health, and overall sales effectiveness.

What you’ll do- Own and execute a multi-year revenue enablement strategy aligned to company growth goals, GTM motions, and key revenue KPIs
- Build and scale a high-impact enablement organization, coaching and developing a team while establishing clear performance standards and career paths
- Design and deliver role-based onboarding, training, certifications, and coaching programs that improve productivity, conversion rates, and time-to-ramp
- Establish scalable enablement frameworks, methodologies, and operating rhythms that drive consistency and predictability across the revenue organization
- Build and maintain a centralized enablement ecosystem, including sales plays, messaging, competitive intelligence, tools, and knowledge management
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, RevOps, Product Marketing, Marketing, and Customer Success to identify performance gaps and enable successful product launches and revenue initiatives
- Own and optimize sales tools and technologies, driving adoption, effectiveness, and measurable ROI
Lead major revenue moments such as sales kickoffs, quarterly business reviews, and readiness cycles - Define, track, and report on enablement metrics, translating insights into action plans that consistently improve revenue outcomes
- 7–10+ years of experience in Sales, Revenue Enablement, GTM Strategy, or similar roles within a high-growth B2B SaaS environment; at least 3–5 years leading enablement teams.
- Proven ability to act as a strategic advisor and thought partner to senior sales and GTM executives.
- Demonstrated experience architecting scalable enablement frameworks across multi-product, multi-segment revenue teams.
- Strong command of Salesforce and proficiency with tools such as Outreach, Gong, Highspot, Intercom, and other components of the modern revenue stack.
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills; able to craft compelling narratives and deliver executive-level presentations.
- Deep passion for developing talent—motivated by helping individuals and teams reach new levels of performance.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into insights, insights into strategy, and strategy into action.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI technologies to automate workflows, enhance decision-making, and improve enablement efficiency.
- Curiosity, humility, and the desire to master a complex domain while iterating toward excellence.
- Hybrid work expectations for candidates located near our Austin or San Diego offices.
- Experience as a former top-performing seller with a track record of exceeding targets in high-velocity B2B SaaS environments.
- Experience implementing or administering LMS/eLearning systems.
- Background in change management, GTM transformation initiatives, or new product launch readiness.
Additional Information
The annual salary range for this position is $160k to $200k. The salary range for performing this role outside of the US / Austin / California may differ. 8am is committed to offering competitive, fair and commensurate compensation and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and education.
