JOB SUMMARY

This job will lead a team managing the suite of Oracle ERP products to include Finance, Supply Chain, and Project Portfolio Management with a base understanding of the Oracle Cloud EPM suite.  The incumbent be responsible for all cloud application support to include the day to day information system application support activities, personnel and implementation of new applications/methodologies. Will have full responsibility of the finance IT systems leading a team of business analysts to include onshore, offshore, and third-party vendors.  Will function as the application owner for the Oracle ERP Cloud suite and other supporting finance systems.  Will direct the daily operations of these teams in addition to strategic initiatives initiated by our clients.  Will have to navigate through steady state operations as well as leading the team through future implementations.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity.  Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.
  • Design and lead the implementation and maintenance of the finance system and solutions portfolio based on the finance business strategy, business capabilities and business requirements
  • Coordinating implementation of system enhancements and cloud quarterly upgrades to assure optimal system performance, data integrity, and reliability.
  • Ensures that financial modules are working effectively and efficiently and that quality measures are in place and routinely monitored.
  • Lead, build and develop a highly skill team with a deep understanding of cloud technology both onshore and offshore.
  • Manage relationships with major Finance IT vendors and service providers to ensure they cost-effectively meet the needs of the organization.
  • Lead the on-going assessment of the technical and business fitness of the Finance IT services and solutions portfolio, their associated costs and risks, and rationalize them to maximize the business contribution. 
  • Other duties as assigned or requested.

EDUCATION
Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or Information Technology, or closely related discipline

EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 7 years of managing successful projects and implementing technical solutions to business process problems across a Cloud technology platform
  • 5 years in a management or leadership role
  • 5 years with Oracle Cloud ERP applications or similar Cloud ERP technology (implementation and/or support)

Preferred

  • 5 years as a corporate Financial Systems Leader, including experience of directing multiple complex projects from formation through deployment and creative problem-solving ability to address challenging business and accounting requirements
  • 3 years of building and developing offshore teams

  • Executive presence, ability to interact with senior leaders and adapt style as needed for technical or non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent problem solving, root cause analysis skills. Able to readily diagnose system deficiencies and independently design and implement effective solutions to complex technical problems
  • Deep knowledge of Finance Processes and the Information and Technology supporting these processes
  • Ability to balance the long-term (or "big picture") and short-term implications of individual decisions
  • Ability to apply multiple solutions to business problems
  • Ability to comprehend rapidly the functions and capabilities of new trends and technologies
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills

Pay Range Minimum:

$156,200.00

Pay Range Maximum:

$259,600.00

Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations.  The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
