You will be responsible for the overall financial integrity and performance of a specific country/cluster, category or finance area. In this role, you will deliver detailed business plans within set targets and monitor the execution and/or adaptation of those steps. You will also be responsible for managing a finance team and engagement in local teams.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Be responsible for leading financial evaluation, execution and integration of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and strategic initiatives across European region,
- Will support strategic initiatives such as creation for new BUs, partnering on transformation projects, large scale capital investments, specific commercial projects. You will develop business cases and ROI analysis.
- Define and oversee financial integration plans for acquisition and track delivery on financial commitments and initiatives. As such ensure finance planning and performance activities and related financial decisions including strategic plan and annual contract planning/forecasting, target development, financial performance reporting/analysis, financial modeling and decision support for a country, country ISC or supporting a corporate FP&A process area.
- Drive a strong controls and compliance environment at Mondelēz International. You will also ensure that policies are understood in the organization and that proper controls and compliance are in place.
What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:
- Master's degree in finance, economics or related field
- Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in corporate finance:
- FMCG background in the European market strongly preferred
- Mix of operational Finance role (Commercial, Category, FP&A) and Strategic Finance background - ideally with previous experience in Finance project management
- Successful experience in managing finance or M&A projects
- Previous experience with a multi country scope
- Excellent communication skills and presentation skills to be able to influence senior stakeholders
- Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Technical expertise in financial planning and performance management including analyzing, planning and reporting company financial performance across all financial KPIs and strategy development, investment decisions and cost management to achieve financial targets.
- Business acumen and understanding of our business, consumer packaged goods industry, and snacking market including local customer/channel dynamics. Relevant experience in a large regional (or global) corporation.
- Leadership skills including proven business partnering, influencing and communication skills across a large regional (or global), public company; experience working as a finance leader managing cross-functional and business partner teams to make decisions and drive execution to deliver results.
- Growth/Digital mindset and the ability to identify strategic/tactical opportunities and leverage technology to improve operational efficiency/effectiveness.
- Integrity and sound judgement in all decisions and interactions aligned with our values and policies and external regulations.
