The Director, Finance, is a senior leadership role responsible for building and overseeing all financial operations at VIVIO Health. This individual will provide strategic financial leadership while ensuring sound accounting practices, operational controls, and regulatory compliance across the organization directly managing and developing a small finance team while remaining deeply engaged in financial planning, reporting, and cross-functional business decisions.
The right candidate is analytically sharp, execution-oriented, and comfortable operating across both strategic and tactical responsibilities.
VIVIO Health operates in a high-change environment — the business is growing, the team is scaling, and financial infrastructure is actively being built. This role requires someone who can lead with confidence when not everything is defined, manage through organizational transitions, and maintain rigor and clarity while the ground is shifting.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Own the annual financial plan, budget, and detailed sales plan development
- Build and maintain financial models and forecasts to guide business decisions
- Establish KPIs and benchmarks to track performance against plan and industry standards
- Establish the strategic framework for internal controls and reporting infrastructure suited to a rapidly scaling company
- Support executive and board-level reporting with clear financial analysis
Accounting & Compliance
- Manage and develop the finance team, ensuring strong day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, and financial reporting
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of all financial records and timely close of monthly, quarterly, and annual financials
- Manage treasury activities including cash management, capital budgeting, and banking relationships
- Oversee tax compliance strategy and all related filings, executed by the Controller in coordination with external advisors
- Coordinate and manage the annual financial audit in partnership with external auditors/accountants
- Oversee management of business licenses and regulatory filings
Business Operations
- Lead contract negotiations with customers, vendors, and consultants
- Negotiate and manage office leases and facility-related matters
- Oversee the HR function, including policies, procedures, and compliance
- Participate in strategic initiatives and operating model decisions alongside the leadership team
Required
- BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required; MBA preferred
- 10+ years in finance, with experience in fast-paced or high-growth companies
- Deep corporate accounting expertise and a track record of clean financial audits
- 10+ years of financial forecasting and FP&A experience
- Expert Excel skills — financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data-driven decision making
- Strong communicator with executive presence; comfortable presenting to boards and investors
- Track record of implementing or improving financial systems and controls
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams.
- High ownership, strong judgment, and genuinely comfortable in fast-moving, high-change environments where organizational structure, priorities, and systems are all evolving simultaneously
- Travel to site meetings and VIVIO-related events
Nice to Have
- Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or specialty benefits
- Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare privacy regulations

- Expected Salary $130K-150K/yr base +Bonus eligible
