  • Support property‑level and enterprise‑wide strategic initiatives, including new game introductions, amenity expansions, promotions, and loyalty programs.

  • Evaluate market trends, competitive dynamics, and economic indicators impacting gaming revenue and guest behavior.

Financial Analysis & Performance Management

  • Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly casino performance metrics including gross gaming revenue, theoretical win, drop, handle, and margin by game type.

  • Identify initiatives to increase customer loyalty and improve database performance, partner with marketers to craft campaigns and promotions, and create reporting to measure success. This role will build credibility with marketers across different functional areas and contribute to the Casino’s culture of data-driven decision-making.

  • Develop KPIs and dashboards for gaming and non‑gaming departments, ensuring timely, actionable performance insights.

  • Provide profitability analysis by department, outlet, promotion, and customer segment.

  • Identify operational risks, cost drivers, and opportunities for margin improvement.

Executive & Stakeholder Decision Support

  • Partner with the President, CFO, VP of Marketing, and senior leadership to support strategic, operational, and capital decisions.

  • Prepare executive‑level presentations for senior management, boards of directors, tribal councils, or ownership groups.

  • Support business cases for capital expenditures, slot purchases, table expansions, system implementations, and major marketing initiatives.

  • Act as a financial advisor to operating leaders, balancing growth initiatives with financial discipline.

Capital Planning & Investment Analysis

  • Oversee financial evaluation of slot yield, table mix optimization, and ROI for marketing reinvestment.

  • Lead investment modeling for capital projects, including IRR, NPV, payback, and sensitivity analyses.

  • Support property valuations, refinancing, debt covenant analysis, and liquidity planning as needed.

Regulatory & Compliance Support

  • Ensure financial planning and reporting processes are consistent with gaming regulatory standards and internal controls.

  • Partner with compliance, internal audit, and external auditors to support regulatory reviews and financial disclosures.

  • Maintain data integrity and documentation for regulated gaming activities and reporting requirements.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the FP&A team, fostering a high‑performance, analytical culture.

  • Establish best practices for financial modeling, scenario analysis, and reporting.

  • Drive continuous improvement in budgeting, forecasting, and analytical processes through automation and systems enhancements.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA/CFA preferred.

  • 8 – 12+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance.

  • Direct experience in the casino, gaming, hospitality, or highly regulated cash‑intensive industries strongly preferred.

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Strong understanding of gaming metrics (e.g., GGR, drop, handle, hold, theoretical win, reinvestment).

  • Proficiency with Excel, financial planning systems (e.g., Hyperion, Adaptive, Anaplan), and BI/reporting tools.

  • Ability to analyze large data sets and present insights clearly to non‑financial stakeholders.
