Who We Are

At Kyndryl, we design, build, manage and modernize the mission-critical technology systems that the world depends on every day. So why work at Kyndryl? We are always moving forward – always pushing ourselves to go further in our efforts to build a more equitable, inclusive world for our employees, our customers and our communities.

The Role

The Director, Global Administration (GA) leads the global administrative services organization by overseeing regional GA leaders/managers, standardizing end-to-end processes across regions, and accelerating efficiency and transformation outcomes. This role is accountable for globally consistent delivery, strong governance and controls, and modernizing the GA operating model through digitization and AI-aligned ways of working (e.g., Copilot-enabled workflows and simplified process execution).

Key Responsibilities

1) Global Leadership & Regional Oversight

  • Lead and coach regional GA managers/leaders to deliver consistent, high-quality administrative services while adapting to regional business needs.

  • Set clear expectations for service delivery, stakeholder management, and operational rigor; build a strong performance and talent pipeline across regions.

  • Promote a collaborative global community and shared standards by enabling knowledge-sharing and common execution practices across regions

2) Standardization of Global Processes (SOPs/DTPs)

  • Own the GA global process framework and drive adoption of globally standardized operating procedures and consistent ways of working.

  • Standardize and continuously improve the GA “processing cycle” and service workflows (e.g., calendar management, travel arrangements, expense management) to increase efficiency, quality, and predictability.

  • Establish and maintain global templates, documentation standards, and process ownership routines to ensure disciplined execution and audit readiness.

3) Operational Excellence, Governance, Risk & Controls

  • Define and enforce GA governance, controls, and compliance mechanisms, including core control points and operational controls across regions.

  • Ensure GA delivery aligns with enterprise standards for data quality, reliability, security, and validation where GA processes touch employee/executive data flows.

  • Own escalation pathways and issue management; reduce dependency on escalations through strong standard work, capability building, and process clarity.

4) Efficiency, Transformation & Service Model Modernization

  • Lead GA transformation initiatives to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and scale support without proportional cost growth.

  • Drive a “reimagined GA support model” with clearer role accountability, simplified workflows, and measurable improvements in responsiveness, workload balance, and operational consistency.

  • Build a continuous improvement engine: define KPIs/SLAs, analyze performance trends, and execute structured improvement plans based on stakeholder feedback

5) AI Alignment & Digitization

  • Sponsor adoption of Copilot-enabled workflows and practical use cases for administrative work (e.g., drafting, summarizing, searching, planning), ensuring governance and secure usage practices are embedded.

  • Lead GA capability uplift through structured learning channels (e.g., learning site, monthly communications, targeted thematic enablement), focused on productivity tools, Copilot, and modern digital practices.

6) Stakeholder Partnership & Executive Experience

  • Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to define service expectations and deliver a trusted executive support experience—balancing consistency with tailored regional needs.

  • Ensure GA teams operate as trusted advisors and extensions of leadership—protecting critical executive experiences such as onboarding, transitions, and daily operations.
