Element451 is seeking a Director of Growth Marketing to lead and execute initiatives across our marketing organization as we scale our modern SaaS platform serving higher education. This role will own the strategy, structure, and performance of demand generation—building scalable programs that drive pipeline, accelerate revenue, and strengthen our market presence.
This leader will bring a modern, data-driven approach to demand generation, leveraging AI tools, experimentation, and digital channels to move faster, test continuously, and maximize marketing impact.
What You’ll DoOwn the growth marketing and demand generation strategy across digital channels, media, campaigns, and lifecycle marketing to drive qualified pipeline and revenue growth
Overhaul and scale existing demand programs, introducing modern frameworks, experimentation, and performance-driven marketing practices
Manage and optimize a ~$1.5M annual paid media budget, working closely with external media agency partners to maximize performance across channels
Develop and execute integrated campaigns across paid media, digital channels, and marketing automation platforms
Partner with product marketing and brand marketing to translate positioning and messaging into high-performing demand campaigns
Define and track pipeline targets and campaign performance goals, using data to continuously optimize channel mix and ROI
Lead campaign experimentation across digital channels, media buying, and emerging AI-driven marketing workflows
Work cross-functionally with sales and revenue teams to ensure strong marketing-to-sales alignment and pipeline quality
Manage marketing technology and reporting workflows, including CRM and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot experience preferred)
Establish a clear, scalable growth marketing strategy aligned to pipeline and revenue goals
Improve campaign performance and channel efficiency, demonstrating measurable ROI on marketing spend
Successfully manage and optimize a $1.5M paid media budget with clear performance reporting and forecasting
Launch high-performing campaigns that increase qualified pipeline generation and lead quality
Implement improved reporting, dashboards, and attribution to help leadership understand marketing impact
6–8+ years of experience in growth marketing, demand generation or performance marketing, ideally within a B2B SaaS company
A strategic demand leader, not just a campaign executor—you’ve built or scaled demand generation functions before
Deep expertise across digital channels, paid media, lifecycle marketing, and campaign optimization
Strong experience managing marketing budgets and performance targets, including working with media agency partners
Highly data-driven with the ability to analyze campaign performance and continuously optimize marketing investment
Comfortable operating in modern marketing environments that use automation, AI, and experimentation
Experience working with CRM and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot strongly preferred)
Collaborative and cross-functional, able to work closely with sales, product marketing, and leadership
