Casap is a Series A startup based in San Francisco founded by product leaders from Robinhood and Chime. We are on a mission to change the way banks operate by building an autonomous banking platform from the ground up. We’re starting with automating dispute and chargeback resolution and already, customers and the industry love our product. Casap is backed by Lightspeed Ventures, Primary Ventures, and a variety of strategic investors and partners.

Casap is looking for a Director of Growth to help build relationships and source sales opportunities with Bank, Credit Union, and Fintech leaders.

This isn’t your traditional high volume BDR role. You will partner directly with a Senior Account Executive on our team to craft strategic outreach to a focused list of large strategic accounts. Yes, you’ll make calls and send emails, but never generic bulk messages. All thoughtful. You’ll travel to events and even create and host your own to break into the right accounts.

There’s tremendous demand for Casap’s product. We just need to educate the market so we’re top of mind when the timing’s right for them to evaluate.

Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with a Senior Account Executive to develop and execute strategic outreach campaigns for a focused list of large strategic accounts in your territory

  • Conduct thoughtful, low-volume cold calling and email outreach to bank, credit union, and fintech executives - never generic bulk messages

  • Travel 1-2 times per month to attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build relationships and generate pipeline

  • Create and host your own events such as dinner series, customer roundtables, and executive briefings to break into target accounts

  • Work closely with your paired AE on account strategy, messaging, and relationship building for complex sales cycles

  • Build and maintain relationships with prospects over 6-12 month timeframes, staying top-of-mind for when timing is right

  • Collaborate on account planning and territory strategy to maximize coverage of high-value prospects

  • Track and report on relationship-building activities, pipeline generation, and territory development metrics

Qualifications

  • You could really be anyone, BUT most likely you have same sales experience (even if selling something totally unrelated to what Casap does)

  • Being the kind of person who can build relationships with the proverbial “janitor and CEO”

  • Self-starter mentality with ability to operate with high autonomy in sometimes-ambiguous startup environment

  • "Pirate ship" mentality - hungry, resourceful, and able to succeed without big company brand recognition

  • Comfortable on the phones and at in-person events with executives

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with natural charisma and executive presence

  • Experience selling large deals to bigger companies with long sales cycles is a plus, but not required

  • Organized with systems-oriented approach to relationship management and follow-up

  • Comfort with travel (1-2 times per month)
