About the Role

We are seeking a Director, GTM Marketing to lead go-to-market strategy and execution for our Activation business.

This role is responsible for driving positioning, commercialization, and pipeline acceleration for Activation solutions. You will partner closely with business-line leadership and Sales to ensure marketing efforts are aligned to revenue priorities and executed with discipline.

This is a high-impact role for someone who combines strong Product Marketing fundamentals with hands-on execution and cross-functional leadership.


What You Will Do

Own GTM Marketing Strategy for Activation
  • Develop and execute the GTM plan aligned to Activation revenue goals
  • Refine positioning and messaging to clearly differentiate in a competitive landscape
  • Translate product updates and innovations into market-ready narratives
  • Ensure consistent messaging across sales materials, content, and campaigns
  • You are accountable for how Activation shows up in the market.
Partner with Business and Sales Leadership
  • Work closely with Activation leadership to align on growth priorities
  • Partner with Sales leaders to identify pipeline needs and field gaps
  • Participate in business reviews and align marketing support accordingly
  • Translate sales feedback into messaging and competitive adjustments
  • Marketing must be embedded in business decision-making.
Lead Commercialization & Enablement Alignment
  • Manage structured launch processes for new Activation features and packages
  • Partner with Enablement to ensure readiness and adoption
  • Coordinate with Demand Generation and Sales Marketing on rollout plans
  • Track launch performance and adjust quickly
  • Commercialization must be structured and measurable.
Drive Demand & Pipeline Alignment
  • Align demand programs to Activation priorities
  • Partner with Demand Generation to increase qualified pipeline
  • Monitor performance metrics and optimize campaigns
  • Support account-based marketing initiatives for priority segments
Coordinate Cross-Functional Execution
  • Partner with:
    • Content & Partner Marketing
    • Brand & Communications
    • Demand Generation
    • Sales Marketing
    • Sales Enablement
    • Marketing Operations
  • Ensure Activation priorities are reflected in shared marketing resources
  • Strong cross-functional leadership is essential.

  • Improved seller confidence in Activation solutions

Your Experience and Expertise:
  • 10-15 years of experience in Product Marketing, GTM Marketing, or B2B marketing
  • Experience marketing data, SaaS, ad tech, or martech solutions
  • Strong storytelling and positioning capabilities
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value
  • Experience partnering with Sales and business-line leaders
  • Data-driven and performance-oriented

For candidates in California, Colorado, and New York City, Illinois, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington and Massachusetts, the Targeted Base Salary Range for this role is $145,000 -$160,000.

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to work experience, specialized skills and training, performance in role, business needs, and job requirements. Base salary is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Base salary is just one component of InMarket’s total rewards package that also may include bonus, equity, and benefits.  Ask your recruiter for more information!
