ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Director, Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP) is a strategic leadership role responsible for aligning HR strategies with business objectives. This role involves partnering with senior management to drive organizational performance through effective human capital management. The Director, HRBP, will oversee the implementation of HR policies, programs, and services, ensuring they support the overall mission and objectives of the organization.

Duties/Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership:

  • Collaborate with business leadership to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that support these objectives.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, providing insights and recommendations on HR matters.

  • Facilitate strategic workforce planning to ensure the organization has the right talent to achieve its goals.

HR Leadership and Management:

  • Lead and develop a team of HR business partners, providing guidance and support to ensure effective service delivery.

  • Oversee the implementation of HR initiatives such as talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and succession planning.

  • Ensure HR practices comply with regulatory requirements and reflect best practices.

Employee Relations and Engagement:

  • Foster a positive work environment through effective employee relations strategies.

  • Address employee concerns and grievances, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

  • Develop and implement programs to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.

Change Management:

  • Lead organizational change initiatives, ensuring effective communication and minimal disruption.

  • Partner with business leaders to manage and support change efforts, including restructurings, mergers, and acquisitions.

HR Metrics and Analytics:

  • Utilize HR analytics to inform decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.

  • Develop and monitor key HR metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Culture and Inclusion:

  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster a welcoming and inclusive workplace.

  • Develop programs that promote organizational culture and values.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role.

  • Proven experience as an HR business partner, with a strong track record of strategic HR leadership.

  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is highly desirable.

  • Prior experience in matrixed, global organizations preferred

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Deep understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage change and drive organizational transformation.

Work Environment

  • This job operates in a hybrid, office environment.

Salary Range

$161,920-$202,400

The annual base salary range for this position is noted above. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and office location.
