Director of Marketing / VP of Marketing

Summary
This position is responsible for managing the marketing team, creating and implementing a marketing plan to facilitate the completion of marketing initiatives that promote Indica Labs’ software products and services, and maintaining inter-departmental relationships to ensure marketing and all messaging is aligned with other departments and the overall company mission.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages and coordinates the marketing team responsible for creative design, branding, event management, scientific and medical writing, social media and customer engagement in order to facilitate the completion of digital, print and event marketing initiatives in a timely manner.
- Works with Indica Executives, design team, and product management teams to assure consistency in the branding, positioning, and messaging relating to the company and its products and services
- Works with stakeholders (internal marketing, applications, pharma services, professional services and product management teams, as well as external partners, including resellers and co-marketing partners) to agree on annual marketing initiatives and meets regularly to review progress towards completion of initiatives.
- Responsible for execution of marketing launches (products and services)
- Creates an annual marketing plan based on input from stakeholders and creates a calendar to organize initiatives in the plan.
- Manages Asana boards outlining marketing initiatives to ensure transparency throughout the organization and timely production of marketing collateral, events, etc.
- Edits, proofreads, and ensures accuracy of customer-facing content; ensures messaging and branding follow established guidelines, and has final sign off responsibility for all content produced by marketing
- Attends scientific conferences and other meetings to manage marketing events (where appropriate), make presentations, present posters and/or to assist with exhibitions as required.
- Creates and maintains relationships with leading publications and organizations for the purpose of public relations and raising company profile within the industry.
- Collaborates with sales operations to ensure sales and marketing workflows and processes are aligned
- Manages customer engagement and inside sales operations and initiatives
- Responsible for the appropriate accessing and handling of electronic Protected Health Information (PHI) as outlined by policy and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)

Minimum Qualifications
- BS or equivalent degree in relevant business or scientific discipline
- Seven (7) years of relevant marketing experience gained through relevant course work and/or direct experience in marketing
- Two (2) years of demonstratable experience creating, implementing and managing a company-wide marketing plan
- Two (2) years of experience managing direct reports.
- One (1) year of experience writing, editing and producing content for a medical or scientific company (Samples required)
- Authorization to work in the United States, or appropriate authorization to work in the applicant’s current home country (Indica Labs, Inc. does not sponsor work visas)
- Valid Passport for international travel

- Five (5) years of experience with Indica Labs marketing

Location
This position is based at our headquarters in Albuquerque, New Mexico and supports remote, hybrid, and in office working arrangements. Remote/Hybrid employees may be required to attend regular in-office meetings
