GoGuardian is seeking a high-impact Director of New Business to lead our national net-new business organization. This is a leader of leaders role responsible for building, coaching, and scaling a team of Sales Managers and New Business teams focused on acquiring new school district customers and accelerating market expansion across the United States.
This leader will own strategy and execution for new logo acquisition across districts of all sizes—from small and midsize districts to large enterprise and strategic opportunities. The role requires a leader who can successfully balance high-volume transactional business with complex, multi-stakeholder district sales cycles.
The Director will report directly to the VP of Sales and play a critical role in driving GoGuardian’s next phase of growth through disciplined execution, operational excellence, and a culture of accountability and performance.
This role requires someone who can operate strategically while remaining deeply connected to execution—a builder, coach, and operator who believes that no job is too small.
What You'll DoLead and Scale the New Business Organization- Lead and develop a team of Sales Managers and New Business teams responsible for net-new revenue acquisition nationally
- Create a high-performance culture centered around accountability, coaching, execution, and customer outcomes
- Hire, retain, and develop top leadership and sales talent
- Establish leadership operating rhythms and coaching cadences that improve consistency and execution
- Develop and execute a national strategy to acquire new school districts across Foundation, Mid-Market, and Enterprise segments
- Identify whitespace opportunities and growth vectors across territories and market segments
- Drive predictable pipeline creation and conversion
- Ensure strong alignment of territory strategy, account prioritization, and resource allocation
- Maintain rigorous inspection of pipeline quality, deal progression, and forecast accuracy
- Partner with Revenue Operations to improve forecasting precision and sales process consistency
- Leverage data and performance insights to identify trends, opportunities, and risk areas
- Establish repeatable sales motions and scalable operating mechanisms
- Partner closely with Marketing, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Product, and Channel teams to maximize growth opportunities
- Collaborate on account-based strategies and key market initiatives
- Provide field insight to influence product priorities and customer strategy
- Build executive-level relationships with district leaders and strategic accounts
- Travel to customer meetings, industry conferences, and key events
- Serve as an ambassador for GoGuardian in the K-12 market
Within your first year you will:
- Increase net-new pipeline generation and conversion performance

- Experience leading both transactional and enterprise sales motions

- Experience building repeatable processes and scaling teams
- Excellent executive communication and leadership skills
- Ability to travel nationally as needed
- K-12 education technology experience strongly preferred
- Experience selling into public sector or government environments
- Experience working with channel ecosystems and indirect sales models
- Familiarity with complex district buying cycles and education funding structures
- Experience leading organizational transformation or high-growth initiatives

The typical annual targeted earnings for this position, which includes base salary and annual variable compensation, ranges between $285,000 and $325,000.
The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base pay for this position and your pay will be determined by a variety of factors, including your primary work location, skills, qualifications and experience.
