The Director of Portfolio Product Marketing is responsible for positioning and messaging Outreach's product portfolio, developing sales strategies, and leading a team to drive product adoption and market share growth.

About the Team
Join the growing Product Marketing team as we expand the Outreach product portfolio to dominate global markets in the Revenue Orchestration space, focusing on mid-market customers to global enterprise companies. We are a team that sits at the intersection of PDESS (Product, Design, Engineering, Support & Success) and the GTM engine – Marketing, RevOps, Sales, Partners, and Enablement. This role translates innovative offerings into marketable, sellable solutions that deliver unmatched customer experiences and can scale across the globe. The Role
Outreach is seeking a Director of Portfolio Product Marketing. This role will report to the VP of Product Marketing and is responsible for driving crisp and compelling positioning and messaging for Outreach’s portfolio. You will work cross-functionally with Demand Generation, Sales, Product Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Revenue Operations to develop effective marketing & sales strategies and tactics to generate awareness and pipeline, accelerate deals, and drive product adoption for our portfolio of products. This person will lead a team of three and work with other Product Marketing, Partners, and Product Management leaders to drive the go-to-market messaging for the portfolio, product launches, and competitive positioning to increase market share, portfolio revenue and adoption.
You will have deep knowledge of selling to mid-market and enterprise businesses and have experience positioning a portfolio/platform of products, tell compelling stories of the value/benefits of the portfolio, and work cross-functionally.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include
- Positioning & Messaging – you and your team will promote and drive Outreach’s portfolio value proposition, differentiation, benefits, and use cases. You’ll engage with customers, prospects, and Outreach’s sales team to iterate on our Portfolio POV & messaging.
- Event, Web, Partner & Competitive messaging – you and your team will support event presentations, Sales kickoff content (as requested), and Outreach Unleash presentation content management, product launch messaging, partner presentations/messaging, and competitive positioning/messaging.
- Campaign Strategy – you and your team will support the market strategy & design campaigns to drive awareness & pipeline. You’ll partner with other marketing teams, including Demand Generation, ABM Campaign Ops, Customer Marketing, Digital & Web team, & Content to ensure tight messaging alignment and coordinate marketing campaigns with sales plays. You’ll also develop content to support campaigns, including blog posts, web pages, keynote presentation, customer stories, & white papers.
- Sales Playbooks & Persona Content - you’ll develop playbooks, plays & offers that support our enterprise GTM teams effectively communicate Outreach’s story and compel our buyers to choose Outreach. Additionally, you’ll build portfolio sales assets, and in concert with other Product Marketing leaders, industry and workflow level sales assets, content & tools to support reps & buyers.
- Enablement - partner with Enablement, Product, other Product Marketing leaders, and Partners to drive strong field enablement strategy.
- Leadership & Coaching - Experience in managing, mentoring and growing a team by creating a work environment that drives execution for Outreach programs to drive meaningful change.
Our Vision Of You
- 7-10 years of experience working in B2B marketing as a product marketer for SaaS technology.
- 3 years in a leadership role managing 2 or more team members.
- Experience working in or marketing to Enterprise businesses required.
- Proficient understanding of AI in SaaS technology, vernacular and landscape.
- Strong executive-level presence and communication.
- Demonstrated track record in crafting positioning and marketing content that communicates clear value benefits across a portfolio of products.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-company and multi-discipline teams with influence to drive business and product results that measurably deliver company impact.
- Ability to drive key business objectives with data-driven, fact-based insights that lead to well-informed strategic plans, quick decision making and impactful outcomes in a fast paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills and a track record for delivering clear and compelling customer and partner-facing materials.
- Experience in sales or product management is a plus.
