Job Description

Turner & Townsend is seeking an inspiring and innovative leader to serve as Director, Procurement & Supply Chain Lead. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our Procurement & Supply Chain Advisory services, drive strategic growth, and deliver market-leading solutions across major real estate and infrastructure programs. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team, develop new service offerings, and foster innovation to ensure our capabilities remain ahead of evolving market demands. Travel will be required to support client engagements and team collaboration across regions.

Role and Responsibilities

The Director will be accountable for advancing our procurement and supply chain strategy for construction projects, delivering high-impact client engagements, and driving business performance. This includes leading major projects and programs, developing digital and data-driven solutions, and building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders. The role requires a strong focus on revenue growth, client satisfaction, and team development.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the development and delivery of differentiated procurement and supply chain solutions that generate tangible client benefits

• Driving strategic growth through market expansion, client engagement, and positioning Turner & Townsend as a leader in digital procurement and supply chain advisory

• Overseeing the delivery of complex, high-value construction programs across multiple sectors, ensuring excellence in execution and client satisfaction

• Developing and owning market strategy to strengthen brand visibility and expand service penetration across key sectors

• Building and maintaining executive-level client relationships, identifying opportunities, and proposing innovative solutions aligned with client needs

• Leading bid preparation, proposal development, and commercial negotiations to secure high-margin, impactful construction projects

• Advancing digital capabilities and integrating technology and data to optimize procurement and supply chain outcomes

• Managing team performance, setting objectives, and ensuring the team possesses the insights, skills, and resources to meet business goals

• Establishing key performance targets and financial budgets, optimizing business performance in alignment with strategic objectives

• Supporting the development of procurement services, including strategic sourcing, contract management, supplier evaluation, and supply chain intelligence

• Leading and mentoring a team of specialist consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture

• Contributing to the leadership of the business by supporting talent development, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years of experience in procurement and supply chain leadership,

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, supply chain management, engineering, construction, or a related field

• Recognized expertise in strategic procurement across public and private sectors, with experience in major capital programs

• Strong consulting background with experience managing client relationships at senior and executive levels

• Demonstrated success in leading high-value projects and navigating complex stakeholder environments

• Deep understanding of contract development, supplier evaluation, commercial modeling, and negotiation strategies

• Experience across multiple sectors, with domain knowledge in real estate, infrastructure, or related industries preferred

• Proven ability to influence client behaviors and decisions, particularly in high-risk, high-value engagements

Additional Information

The salary range for this full-time role is $200K-$300K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package.  Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
