The Director of Product Management will lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for our regulatory compliance SaaS platform serving the pharmaceutical and life sciences supply chain. This role sits at the intersection of compliance expertise, technology, and customer workflows, ensuring our product becomes the industry’s most trusted system for regulatory readiness and operational excellence.

 

This role will define how our platform evolves to meet complex federal and state regulatory requirements, transform compliance burdens into intuitive workflows, and help customers reduce risk while accelerating their operations.

 

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for building the long-term product vision and driving cross-functional alignment across engineering, design, regulatory experts, sales, and customer success.

 

This is a full-time remote position.
Working Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm ET



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Product Strategy & Regulatory Alignment

  • Own and articulate a forward-looking product strategy that positions our platform as the industry’s regulatory intelligence and automation engine.
  • Translate regulatory complexity into simple, scalable workflow, dashboard and automation for pharmaceutical supply chain partners.
  • Identify emerging market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer needs to guide strategic product decisions.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Establish product management processes, best practices and cross-functional rituals tailored to regulated SaaS environments.
  • Foster a collaborative culture grounded in customer empathy and data-driven decision-making.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product managers.

Execution & Delivery

  • Oversee discovery, requirement definition, design feedback and refinement iteration, prioritization, sprint planning, release execution and launch operations.
  • Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of product releases in partnership with engineering and design.
  • Translate strategy into actionable epics and priorities using frameworks such as OKRs.

Customer Insight & Market Intelligence

  • Drive deep customer understanding through discovery, interviews, analytics, and market research to identify pain points and emerging needs
  • Drive structured discovery programs, customer advisory groups, and continuous feedback loops to validate product direction.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with engineering, UX, marketing, sales, compliance, and customer success to ensure alignment on goals and execution.
  • Collaborate with company leadership to align product strategy with revenue growth objectives, GTM strategy, and customer expansion

Metrics & Performance

  • Define, monitor, and operationalize KPIs around customer adoption, product usage, and reliability.
  • Use product analytics and customer data to optimize workflows and identify opportunities for automation and intelligence
  • Drive continuous improvement by leveraging feedback loops, analytics, and experimentation.

 

Work Experience Qualifications:

Required:

  • 10+ years of product management experience, with 3+ years in a product leadership role in B2B SaaS.
  • Experience with building enterprise-grade software products with complex workflows, rule engines, or data models.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize large volumes of customer-driven features across a complex product with many capabilities, balancing customer needs with strategic focus.
  • Strong grasp of discovery frameworks, prioritization methodology and roadmap communications.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially across technical and regulatory audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop product managers while scaling processes

Preferred:

  • Experience in pharmaceuticals, life sciences, compliance, regulatory requirements, healthcare, or controlled substances workflows.
  • Background in workflow automation platforms, document intelligence, or risk/compliance systems.

Other Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Office suite competency including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Staying organized while effectively prioritizing multiple projects at once.
  • High attention to detail when completing projects.
  • Strong time management skills to complete projects by deadlines.
  • Self-motivated individual who takes ownership of their projects.
  • Maintain excellent verbal, writing, and language skills.

Compensation:

  • Base Pay:  $170,000 annual salary or higher, depending on relevant experience
