This role sits at the intersection of clients, Product, Engineering, and Account Management, driving alignment on priorities, scope, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Delivery

  • Establish and run program governance, including steering committees, RAID logs, decision logs, and executive reporting.
  • Ensure programs are delivered on time, on budget, and within scope, with clear change control and risk management practices.
  • Drive cross-team coordination across Professional Services, Product, Engineering, QA, and Operations.

Client Partnership & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a senior point of contact and trusted advisor for key APL clients, including Ameriprise, LPL, Raymond James, and Wells.
  • Translate client priorities into clear program roadmaps, milestones, and success metrics.

Governance, Controls & Production Readiness

  • Implement and enforce delivery controls and governance frameworks, including finance and revenue recognition requirements.
  • Oversee release and production support planning for major events such as conversions, go-lives, and large releases, partnering with L2/support and operations teams.
  • Ensure programs incorporate testing strategy, conversion planning, and operational readiness, including files, jobs, and controls.

Commercial & Portfolio Alignment

  • Partner with Account Management to align on Professional Services scope and revenue expectations by client, including SOW structure, change orders, and support offerings.
  • Identify and package client needs into SOWs, retainers, and follow-on work, including program governance and platform stability services.
  • Contribute to account planning and portfolio roadmapping, ensuring delivery commitments support broader subscription and product strategies.

Practice & Methodology Development

  • Define and continuously improve APL delivery methodologies, runbooks, and templates for implementations and conversions, including APL 10 and TradeFlow.
  • Champion best practices in program management, governance, and risk management across the APL PS organization.
  • Mentor project and program managers informally, raising the bar on planning, execution, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

Required

  • 10+ years of experience in Program and Project Management, including 5+ years leading large, complex programs in financial services or enterprise software.
  • Proven experience delivering multi-workstream, multi-year client programs with multi-million-dollar budgets.
  • Strong background in governance, controls, and risk management, including familiarity with finance and revenue-recognition-aware delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior client stakeholders and manage C-level expectations.
  • Experience working with distributed, cross-functional teams across Professional Services, Product, Engineering, QA, and Operations.
  • Excellent communication, executive storytelling, and negotiation skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with managed accounts, SMA/UMA, trading, performance, or tax-aware platforms.
  • Background in APL, APL 10, TradeFlow, or similar wealth and asset management platforms.
  • Formal project or program credentials such as PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or Agile certifications.
  • Prior responsibility for large client programs or portfolios in a vendor or consulting environment.

Success Measures

  • Programs are delivered on time and on budget with high client satisfaction, including strong NPS/CSAT results and client references.
