About this opportunity:
Join us as the MACS Networks PMO Director, where you will lead a team of project managers to deliver strong results. You will build a solid talent pipeline and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at high quality. This role is key in shaping and executing the project management vision while upholding our company values and culture.
This position is part of the PMO leadership team, reporting to the Head of PMO, and is based in Mexico City.
What you will do:
  • Project Delivery Excellence: Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality through clear scope definition, effective risk management, and accurate costing.
  • EPPM/XLPM Framework: Promote the Ericsson Project and Program Management Methodology (EPPM) to drive consistency and excellence.
  • Financial Performance: Monitor project financials, focusing on margins and overall targets.
  • Program & Project Leadership: Oversee critical projects, ensuring governance, change management, and proper handling of change requests.
  • Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure adherence to standards and promote project management best practices.
  • Leadership & People Management: Develop and lead a high-performing team, managing resources and budgets effectively.
  • Transformation & Growth: Support business objectives and drive growth and profitability through strong project execution.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, IT, or related field
  • MBA or relevant master's degree preferred
  • Project Management certifications (PMP®, PgMP®, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
  • Ongoing learning in leadership, finance, or analytics
  • Fluent in English; Spanish and Portuguese are a plus
  • Strong ability to work in multicultural environments
