Job Description Summary
The Director, Sales Analytics & National Accounts is responsible for establishing strategies and implementing tactics to drive profitable sales within assigned accounts. Developing strong relationships, leveraging analyses and insights and collaborating with key customers to influence mutually beneficial outcomes will be key to success in this role. This role will also be responsible for overall SKU strategy through analytical modeling and working closely with Product Management. Additional responsibilities include successfully negotiating and managing profitable multi-million dollar contracts as well as inventory management.Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Support all accounts on SKU strategy: Launch targets, target market share and working with Product Management to align on these results.
- Develops the business plans and actively manages assigned accounts to meet and exceed sales and profit margin objectives.
- Identifies new business opportunities and collaborates with key stakeholders on strategy and execution.
- Analyzes business results and stays abreast of current business trends to maximize potential sales.
- Builds and sustains relationships with internal and external customers and ensures customer satisfaction.
- Leads negotiations and execution of business contracts for assigned accounts.
- Manages the communication and coordination for all aspects of an account’s business, including, but not limited to, supply/demand, logistics, customer service, pricing and contracts, and financial transactions.
- Works closely with cross functional business partners in Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, Contracts, Legal, and Supply Chain to ensure that territory business is conducted in a timely, smooth and efficient manner.
- Ensures all business is conducted with regulatory and compliance guidelines.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred
- Highly developed negotiation skills.
- New product launch experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large multi-million dollar contracts.
- Ability to sell and manage customer relationships in a highly regulated industry.
- Experience in leveraging multiple data sets to analyze product and market trends to inform customer strategy
- 10+ years’ experience in the generic industry with sales experience.
Knowledge
- Excellent analytical capabilities.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously, working individually or collaboratively.
- Developing and maintaining trusting relationships with key decision makers internally and externally.
- Proven track record of sales accomplishments.
- Proficient in IQVIA, Symphony, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proven track record of product launches.
