The Opportunity: 
CACI is seeking a Director, Marketing Operations and Strategy to serve as the operational and strategic backbone of the Corporate Communications organization. This role collaborates closely with Marketing, Strategic Communications, Creative, and Events to ensure the Corporate Communications organization operates as a modern, insight-driven in-house agency—fast, integrated, audience-focused, and aligned with CACI’s enterprise priorities. 

Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President (EVP), Corporate Communications, the Director, Marketing Operations and Strategy plays a central role in driving operational excellence, strengthening internal communications, building cross-functional partnerships, and serve as a bridge between Corporate Communications and its internal customers. This leader will also be a key advisor to the EVP and build leadership continuity within the Corporate Communications organization.
 

We are prioritizing candidates local to CACI's Headquarters in Reston, VA.

Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence and Delivery Leadership

  • Lead the end-to-end operating model for Corporate Communications, ensuring disciplined intake, scoping, prioritization, resource planning, and delivery across all workstreams.
  • Build data-driven frameworks to optimize throughput, quality, and cycle time for integrated campaigns, communications, and enterprise initiatives.
  • Establish repeatable processes and playbooks that support consistent execution across the Marketing, Strategic Communications, Creative, and Events teams.
  • Anticipate operational bottlenecks and drive proactive problem-solving to ensure work moves fast, efficiently, and with strategic alignment.

Enterprise Integration and Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Serve as the primary operational bridge between Corporate Communications and internal customers across U.S. Operations, Business Development, Human Resources, and other functional groups.
  • Align communications strategy and program execution with enterprise priorities, business needs, and audience insights.

Strategic Partnership to the Executive Vice President, Corporate Communications

  • Act as the EVP’s senior advisor on operational and organizational effectiveness, enabling faster decisions, and reducing friction across the function.
  • Prepare decision-support materials, strategic briefs, and communication frameworks to help streamline leadership approvals and accelerate execution.
  • Strengthen leadership continuity and contribute directly to long-term capability building within Corporate Communications.

Analytics, Insights, Workflow Systems, and Continuous Improvement

  • Oversee the of enterprise workflow tools (i.e., Asana) to manage complex work across diverse teams and priorities.
  •  Leverage data, research, and insights to inform operational decisions, communications planning, and campaign execution.
  • Build modern reporting capabilities that measure engagement, performance, traffic, and enterprise impact across marketing and communications programs.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments with a strong bias for action.
     

Qualifications:

Required:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or a related field.
  •  Minimum of 12 years of experience in marketing and communications roles of increasing responsibility.
  • Progressive leadership experience with at least three (3) years managing people.
  • Expert project management skills.
  • Experience with enterprise workflow tools (i.e., Asana). 
  • Proficiency with modern analytics and reporting tools.
  • Ability to set strategy and tactical action plans while adapting as needed.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$118,600 - $260,700
