COMPANY DESCRIPTION: D3D Cinema (D3D) is a boutique museum technology integrator specializing in cinema systems, digital displays and immersive presentation solutions. Headquartered in Evanston, IL and supported by warehouse/engineering facilities in Philadelphia, PA, D3D has undertaken over 125 museum, aquarium, and science center installations worldwide over 15 years, including large-format theaters, digital domes, traveling cinemas, LED walls, VR experiences and proprietary presentation solutions.
ROLE: D3D is seeking a technology & systems sales director to represent D3D in the global market. The role will include target prospecting, lead generation, client presentations and contracting. The Sales Director will work closely with D3D’s executive leadership, General Manager, and engineering team. To cultivate relationships and support the needs of museum clients, a successful candidate will be friendly and professional, knowledgeable about the non-profit sector, comfortable around institutional leadership, and is a quick study of new and emerging cinema/digital technology.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
5+ years of regional, national or global sales experience
Experience selling technology (though not required)
Strong writing ability
Command of spreadsheet & database software (i.e. Excel)
Command of presentation software (i.e. Powerpoint)
Proficient design skills
Knowledgeable with AV technology
Public speaking and sales presentation experience
Self-starter with strong work ethic
Willingness to travel (domestic and international), must have valid passport
Strong communication skills
Collaborative, works well in a team setting
COMPENSATION: Salary commensurate with experience + commission. Range posted herein is for the base salary.
