  • Forge strategic partnerships with Commercial, Marketing, Group Supply Chain, and regional leadership to shape unified, customer-centric demand plans—aligned tightly to market intelligence, commercial targets, and inventory optimisation.

  • Serve as the senior chair for US supply planning and IBP meetings, shaping executive-level decision-making within Dyson US and with Group.

Strategic Demand Planning

  • Oversee development and sign-off of demand and inventory targets at total market, customer, and product category levels.

  • Leverage data-driven analytics, advanced forecasting tools, and sophisticated modelling to inform short- and long-term plans.

  • Set the vision for demand planning deliverables and drive best-in-class ways of working, championing process innovation and standardisation.

Business Performance and Continuous Improvement

  • Own end-to-end S&OP/IBP cadence for Dyson US market, continuously identifying and implementing improvements.

  • Anticipate and mitigate risks—activating response options with agility in partnership with senior leadership.

  • Utilise advanced performance analytics to identify gaps and drive process improvements that enhance forecast accuracy and inventory health.

Commercial Planning and New Product Introduction

  • Direct strategic promotional alignment and assortment planning to maximise commercial impact across channels.

  • Drive scenario planning and long-range forecasting to support annual budgets and multi-year business plans.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

  • Act as primary interface for all critical demand changes to US and global ELT, ensuring leadership is informed and enabled to take action.

  • Build executive-level consensus for all demand and supply plans, managing cross-functional alignment and rapid escalation of issues.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Inspire, develop, and mentor a team of demand planning managers and senior analysts.

  • Drive a high-performance, results-oriented culture—setting clear expectations, providing coaching, and enabling growth.

Quality and Compliance

  • Oversee product pipeline integrity, including replenishment strategies, NPD timelines, and compliance checks in partnership with Quality and Audit.

About You
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree highly preferred (Supply Chain, Business, or related field).

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain strategy, with at least 5 years leading multi-layered teams in large-scale, fast-paced CPG or consumer technology environments.

  • Strong executive presence and proven ability to influence at C-suite and Group level.

  • Demonstrated expertise in S&OP/IBP leadership, scenario planning, and advanced forecasting systems (SAP, Anaplan, Kinaxis, or equivalent).

  • Transformational leader with a track record of building high-performing, engaged teams and driving process innovation.

  • Deep analytical capability; expert in business modelling, commercial math, and problem-solving.

  • Exceptional communicator—able to synthesise complex data and strategic insights for broad and senior audiences.

  • Demonstrated bias for action, agility, and ownership.

  • Unwavering integrity, professionalism, and commitment to Dyson’s pioneering culture.
