Join our Payments Sales team. As a key leader on the team, you will drive the end-to-end client experience.

 

As a Payments Sales Manager within the Payments Sales team, you will be responsible for developing new business and expanding client relationships across a portfolio of Diversified Industries corporate clients. You will be expected to sell solutions that deliver value to the firm and build a strong pipeline. To achieve sales goals, you will execute a comprehensive selling strategy in conjunction with product and banking/coverage teams. You will collaborate with client service, implementation, operations, technology, risk, credit, and legal partners to optimize delivery. You will also develop a thorough understanding of the client’s business, organizational and operating structure, buying process, and objectives to position solutions effectively.

Job Responsibilities

  • Deepen and grow existing client relationships

  • Develop new profitable business from prospective clients

  • Engage clients and internal partners at senior levels to deliver integrated payments solutions in a consultative, client-driven manner

  • Partner with internal product stakeholders by representing the client perspective in the development and evolution of products and solutions

  • Understand clients’ business goals, environments, strategies, and trends to determine requirements and identify new opportunities through appropriate payments solutions

  • Assess competitive capabilities and position the firm’s payments solutions effectively

  • Manage client outreach and meeting cadence, including discussions on solutions and new capabilities

  • Manage proposal writing and the end-to-end sales process, including competitive requests for information and proposals

  • Develop and enhance client knowledge and share insights with coverage partners to support business development and client risk management

  • Partner with coverage and cross-functional teams to expand existing business, provide feedback to product managers, and generate cross-sell opportunities

  • Collaborate with service and implementation partners to retain, grow, and enhance existing client relationships

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience in cash management, sales, and relationship management

  • Knowledge and understanding of payments products

  • Ability to assess opportunities and engage key decision makers

  • Strong account planning skills with demonstrated execution

  • Strong creative solutioning and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation skills

  • Proven ability to build and develop relationships

  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills

  • Understanding of compliance and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes

  • Effective collaboration, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills
