JOB SUMMARY: As an EDI Coordinator, you'll be responsible for supporting the daily activities of the EDI team in the electronic exchange of data (shipment details, status updates, etc.) and API integrations between the company and external trading partners. This position is on-site and does not involve programming.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring tendered freight for acceptance and integrity of order information
- Managing inbound/outbound flow of EDI transactions (204, 210, 214, 990, 997)
- Troubleshooting error logs impacting successful receipt or delivery of trading partner files
- Updating AS/400 and notifying applicable parties of changes in shipment status
- Confirming PODs for detention and accessorial fees associated with loading and unloading delays. Invoicing the customer as necessary and issuing extra driver pay
- Working directly with vendors, customers and staff to implement solutions
- Assisting with integration-focused projects
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications
- Familiarity with Transport EDI transaction sets (204, 990, 214, 210)
- EDI mapping capability
- 2+ years of IT and business work experience with a wide range of exposure to various technical environments and business units
- 2+ years of progressive experience with EDI and familiarity with .Net and SQL
- Ability to read raw EDI docs and parse data for troubleshooting
- Advanced Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with IBM AS400/Power System experience
- Visual Mapper experience
- Working knowledge of Access
