The EES Program Manager is responsible for leading and governing enterprise-level programs within Enterprise Engineering Solutions (EES), ensuring alignment to strategic objectives and successful delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives. This role drives program execution, stakeholder alignment, and operational excellence through effective planning, governance, and performance management.
Essential Functions:
- Lead end-to-end program execution aligned to enterprise and EES strategic priorities.
- Develop and maintain integrated program plans, schedules, and roadmaps across multiple projects.
- Manage program scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies; drive mitigation and resolution strategies.
- Establish and lead program governance, including intake, prioritization, and stakeholder forums.
- Serve as the central point of contact for cross-functional stakeholders across business and IT domains.
- Drive alignment, communication, and decision-making across complex, matrixed teams.
- Partner with leadership to secure funding, resources, and prioritization for program initiatives.
- Develop and deliver program-level reporting, dashboards, and communications to senior leadership.
- Facilitate program planning activities, including resource forecasting and roadmap development.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise program management standards, tools, and governance practices.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across program delivery and operations.
- Manage stakeholder engagement, communications, and issue resolution to maintain program momentum.
- Oversee program documentation and artifacts to support governance, transparency, and audit readiness.
- Monitor and manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAIDs) to ensure successful outcomes.
- Adopt and effectively utilize agentic AI development tools to accelerate software delivery, improve quality, reduce manual effort, and increase engineering productivity throughout the SDLC.
- Perform any other job related duties as requested.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Project Management, or related field required
- Equivalent years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of required education
- Five (5) years experience in program or project management in IT, data, or engineering environments required
- Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional programs spanning multiple projects required
- Experience with Agile, hybrid, or traditional SDLC methodologies required
- Experience in healthcare or managed care industry preferred
- Strong program and portfolio management expertise, including planning, budgeting, and governance
- Ability to manage complex dependencies across multiple teams, systems, and business units
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across all organizational levels
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Proficiency in program management tools and reporting
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and enterprise technology environments
- Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration in a matrixed organization
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of healthcare payer systems and regulatory environment preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred
- Program Management certification (PgMP) preferred
- Agile, Scrum, or related certifications preferred
- General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to travel as required by the needs of the business.
Compensation Range:
$113,000.00 - $197,700.00CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
