The Electronic Trading (OEMS) Specialist serves as the key escalation point between client-facing teams and internal development and product groups, with a focus on top-tier clients. In this role, you will leverage your front-office trading technology expertise to guide clients toward optimal solutions for their electronic trading workflows within our Order and Execution Management System (OEMS).

Success in this position demands hands-on familiarity with multi-asset class trading platforms, along with the ability to quickly assess, prioritize, and define the scope of issues as they arise in real time. 

  

What You’ll Do:  

  • Deploy and provide premium OEMS support to our top tier clients including trader workflows, FIX connectivity, allocations and order sizing, pre-trade compliance and more for industry leading investment management platform  

  • Work closely with the technology and OEMS product teams to prioritize projects for your client coverage and coordinate with Account Management and Project Manager on project timelines 

  • Investigate issues and escalate to the OEMS development team as needed  

  • Learn how your industry experience translates to our OEMS platform by completing our internal OEMS certification programs   

  • Promote knowledge sharing across the team by collaborating and sharing trading expertise with our OEMS Product Support team members  

  • Assess patterns in support tickets, requests, and alerts helping increase efficiencies of training and support   

  

What You’ll Need:  

  • 2+ years of related experience in the following: 

  • Financial services industry working with Prime Brokers, Executing Brokers, OEMS Platform Vendors, or Asset Management Front Office users  

  • FIX Protocol knowledge

  • Experience working on OMS or EMS platforms or deployments 

  • Strong understanding of global trading systems and portfolio managers workflow  

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Good communication, both verbally and written 

Salary Range:

Chicago: $75,000-$85,000

New York: $80,000-$90,000
