Our client's organization is transitioning from a decentralized, grassroots approach to AI adoption toward a centrally governed AI Center of Excellence (COE). The primary mandate of the COE is to establish enterprise architecture standards and redesign high-value business workflows using AI-first principles. Rather than focusing on standard software development life cycle (SDLC) prompts, this initiative specializes in building production-ready, orchestrated multi-agent pipelines.
A proven benchmark within this stream is an automated training course generation workflow that successfully orchestrated 16 distinct AI roles (e.g., Document Analyst, Storyboard Writer, QA Analyst) under a single human approval gate, reducing the production cycle from 3 months to 2.5 weeks while operating on optimized token budgets. The COE aims to identify and execute 3 to 5 additional high-value use cases across departments over the next four to five months.
Requirements
- Advanced AI Fluency: Demonstrated technical expertise in building complex prompt engineering schemas, custom agent workflows, and managing LLM performance, specifically within the Anthropic (Claude) ecosystem.
- Custom Orchestration Logic: Proven experience developing bespoke orchestration layers and CLI-driven tools rather than exclusively relying on out-of-the-box framework constraints.
- High Emotional Intelligence (EQ): Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to bridge the gap between hard-core AI development and non-technical enterprise stakeholders.
- Pragmatic Delivery Focus: A strong business acumen geared toward driving immediate operational value and deploying rapid, contained successes.
Responsibilities:
- Workflow Engineering: Partner directly with internal "AI Champions" (domain experts in Sales, Marketing, and Support) to analyze existing business operations and structurally redesign them into AI-first agentic workflows.
- Agent Development & Orchestration: Design, develop, and deploy production-grade AI agents and specialized skills, utilizing custom orchestration logic via the Anthropic Command Line Interface.
- Operational Balancing: Manage a fluid project lifecycle that begins with an initial 50/50 split between business discovery/requirements gathering and active coding, shifting dynamically up to a 75/25 split based on specific use-case needs.
- Enablement & Sustainable Offboarding: Serve as a technical mentor to business units, ensuring that internal AI Champions achieve advanced fluency to operate and manage the workflows independently after a 9-to-12-month horizon.
