Employee Sales Lead (ESL) Program Manager

At Blackbaud—the leading provider of software for powering social impact—we believe every employee can play a role in driving growth and amplifying our mission. The Employee Sales Lead (ESL) Program Manager will own and scale our global ESL Program, empowering employees across all business units to identify, influence, and generate qualified sales opportunities.

This role sits at the intersection of purpose and performance—turning employee insights into measurable pipeline growth while strengthening our collective mission to power social good.

What You’ll Lead and Deliver

Grow and Energize the ESL Program

  • Own and scale the global ESL Program, expanding employee participation across regions and functions to drive qualified opportunities that convert to revenue.
  • Design and manage quarterly spiffs, incentive structures, and recognition programs (leaderboards, awards, internal communications) that motivate engagement and celebrate top contributors.
  • Create clear, compelling program messaging that connects employee participation to both business outcomes and Blackbaud’s mission.

Enable and Equip Teams for Success

  • Partner with Sales Enablement and Product Marketing to educate employees on core customer use cases that can surface meaningful sales opportunities.
  • Drive adoption of ESL playbooks and tailor enablement approaches to Customer Success, Renewals, Support, and Professional Services teams.
  • Collaborate closely with IT, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success to support a next‑best‑action approach that surfaces timely cross‑sell and upsell opportunities.

Analyze, Optimize, and Scale Impact

  • Track and report on program performance, including submission volume, conversion rates, pipeline contribution, and ROI.
  • Use data‑driven insights to continuously refine incentives, improve participation, and deliver sustained, double‑digit year‑over‑year growth in employee‑generated pipeline.
  • Identify friction points and opportunities to simplify participation and increase program effectiveness at scale.

What You Bring

  • 3+ of experience in GTM program management, sales enablement, customer marketing, or a related role within a SaaS or technology‑driven environment.
  • Demonstrated success designing and scaling incentive or engagement programs that drive measurable business impact.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with hands‑on experience using Salesforce, Power BI, or similar CRM/analytics tools.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and communicate effectively with executives, managers, and front‑line teams.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and change‑management skills.
  • Creativity and passion for connecting people to purpose through well‑designed programs, storytelling, and recognition.

Why This Role Matters

The ESL Program Manager plays a critical role in unlocking growth that already exists inside Blackbaud—by empowering employees to recognize opportunity, act with confidence, and directly contribute to revenue while advancing social good.
