Day in the Life of a Systems Analyst

*Must have healthcare EMR experience (for example, Carelogic or Epic).

The Systems Analyst is responsible for providing support to end users on new features, basic use of EMR system.

  • Provide level one EMR ticket triage and execution, escalating when necessary.

  • Troubleshoot issues as reported in tickets from end users.

  • Monitor escalated tickets for resolution to increase one’s own level of expertise.

  • Coordinate with Business Analysts and Director to onboard new services and locations.

  • Assist Director in special projects.

  • Assist Analyst in special projects.

  • Testing of changes made in certification system as directed.

  • Monitoring of production site for quality assurance as directed.

  • Documentation and logging of all system changes.

  • Complete required trainings and mandatory training hours.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Location

This role is remote, but some ideal locations would include PA, VA or SC. Highly prefer eastern time zone candidates. May need to travel to corporate office at times for meetings 1-2 times a year.

Education and Requirements
  • Associate’s degree in business, Computer Information Systems or related field and/or comparable experience in the field.

  • Two or more years of experience with software support and implementation.

  • Two or more years in the healthcare industry.

  • Experience with Carelogic and Methasoft helpful
