The Endpoint System Engineer manages and supports endpoint platforms, ensuring health, compliance, and performance through monitoring, automation, and troubleshooting.

ITTConnect is seeking an Endpoint System Engineer to work remotely from anywhere in Brazil for a client in the US.

The Endpoint Systems Engineer is responsible for managing and supporting endpoint platforms and tooling across customer environments within the Managed Services organization. This role focuses on endpoint management, patching, monitoring, and automation using centralized management tools. Endpoint Systems Engineers ensure endpoint health, compliance, and performance through proactive monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of tooling and processes.This role combines technical troubleshooting with platform ownership and automation, working closely with internal teams and customer stakeholders to maintain stable, secure, and well-managed endpoint environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the health, performance, and compliance of endpoint environments across customer environments.
- Manage and maintain endpoint management platforms (MDM/RMM), including Intune and NinjaOne.
- Monitor and maintain endpoint health, patching, and compliance, ensuring successful deployment and remediation of OS and application updates.
- Investigate and resolve endpoint-related issues, including performance, configuration, and policy enforcement problems.
- Create and manage problem investigations for recurring or complex endpoint issues.
- Develop, test, and maintain scripts and automation (PowerShell preferred) to support endpoint management and operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain integrations between endpoint management tools and other systems (e.g., ITSM, monitoring platforms).
- Collaborate with infrastructure and support teams to resolve cross-system issues impacting endpoints.
- Maintain endpoint configuration standards, policies, and documentation.
- Participate in change management processes for endpoint-related updates and deployments.
- Identify and implement improvements to endpoint management, automation, and operational processes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of IT experience.
- MUST BE fluent in English.
- 3–6 years of experience supporting endpoint management in an MSP, enterprise IT, or similar environment.
- Experience with endpoint management platforms (e.g., Microsoft Intune, other MDM solutions).
- Experience with RMM tools (e.g., NinjaOne or similar platforms).
- Experience with Microsoft 365 / Entra ID device management.
- Experience with Windows endpoint administration and lifecycle management.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills related to endpoint systems.
- Experience with patch management processes and tools.
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
- Experience working within ticketing systems and structured support processes.
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell preferred) for automation and tooling.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
Preferred
- Certifications such as VMware VCP, Microsoft, or cloud infrastructure certifications.
- Certifications such as Microsoft, endpoint management, or cloud certifications.
- Experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment with exposure to ITIL-based service delivery models.
- Deep experience with enterprise infrastructure technologies, including VMware vSphere, Cisco UCS, and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD).
