We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Risk Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing credit risk frameworks to optimize the risk and profitability, ensuring the stability of client portfolio.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement credit risk strategies by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, including Regulatory, Product, Analytics, and Risk teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements.
- Conduct end-to-end data analysis across multiple stages of the credit lifecycle, including Existing Customer Management (ECM), Acquisition, Credit Line Increase (CLI), and Credit Line Decrease (CLD), to identify risks, opportunities, and performance improvement areas.
- Monitor and track portfolio performance metrics, analyzed emerging trends, and recommended strategic enhancements to optimize risk-adjusted returns and portfolio health.
- Present analytical insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, driving consensus through governance forums and securing approvals for policy and strategy implementation.
- Leverage a strong understanding of lending products and credit risk frameworks to identify performance gaps, evaluate strategy effectiveness, and implement data-driven optimization initiatives.
- Partner with business and risk stakeholders to design, test, and deploy credit policy changes, ensuring successful execution and measurable business impact.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or higher degree in engineering or any relevant field
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in credit risk management, with a focus on strategy development. Previous experience of analytics consulting in Banking Domain.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL or Python is essential. Preference to Hands-on experience with Databricks
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Past experience in statistical analysis and financial modeling.

Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
