Identity and Access Management Systems Engineer

As a Systems Engineer, within our Enterprise Technology division on our Infrastructure Services Operations team, you will be responsible for the support of a variety of technologies that are owned by the Operations team with a focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Purpose: Infrastructure support of software release practices.
- Scope: Support all operations and software development staff across the company.
During a day as an IAM Systems Engineer with CSC you can expect to…
- Be responsible for federated identity support (Ping, AD FS), acting as the subject matter expert on ForgeRock
- Support security solutions for evolving and vital Identity and Access Management needs (e.g. provisioning, de-provisioning, access validation, authentication, and troubleshooting).
- Provide support for IAM operational incidents and requests.
- Collaborate with engineers and developers to troubleshoot applications and automation.
- Support continuous integration automated testing and deployment (Jenkins, Anthill, Artifactory) .
- Alongside CSC’s Infrastructure Services organization, monitor and maintain critical business environments for health, scalability, and stability.
- Partner with other Infrastructure Team Members to learn, develop and enhance the skills needed to support software-based Infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Internal Infrastructure Teams to resolve escalated support issues.
- Take part in an after-hours on-call support rotation and implement solutions, patching and deployment activities after hours as needed.
- Develop and maintain technical expertise in IAM technologies.
To be successful in this role you’ll need…
- Experience with enterprise SSO - ForgeRock, SAML, PING, AD FS preferred
- Experience maintaining 3rd party applications hosted within the production environments
- Experience across programming languages (Java, .Net, scripting languages)
- Ability to prepare effective, clear and concise written communications; evaluate and present new product technologies; automate procedures to produce repeatable software builds and releases
- Knowledge of build artifact storage methodologies and life cycle
- Experience with system monitoring tools
- Strong commitment to customer service and customer satisfaction
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment
