Summary

The Maximo Integration Developer will work directly with our clients and our functional / technical teams to understand and implement their Maximo and respective interfaces. This individual will also be responsible for ensuring that deliverables meet client standards and expectations. The successful candidate will work on multiple tasks simultaneously and be a team player.

This position will be reporting to the Solution Architect and the Program Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Develops designs based on stakeholder requirements
  • Performs application integration and develops/codes interfaces
  • Documents technical specifications and integration requirements
  • Unit test interfaces

Job Specific Requirements

  • 4-year college degree or 5+ years of professional experience within integration
  • IBM Maximo integration experience is required
  • Intimate knowledge of Application Design Standards - IBM MQSeries desired or similar messaging middleware solution set
  • General consulting experience at a top tier consulting firm – running workshops; defining requirements; mapping processes; developing technical specifications
  • Gas business knowledge understanding / Utility Industry Experience desired

General Requirements

  • Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing
  • Familiarity with Microsoft based applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Project)
  • Possess strong analytical, problem solving, and leadership skills
  • A team player with the willingness to assist coworkers on other projects as required
  • Understanding of the business analysis and project management methods
  • Experience working with System Development Lifecycles (Waterfall and Agile)
