Summary

The Technical Consultant will work under the direct supervision of the Project Manager or Subject Matter Expert on the SAP ERP System upgrade. This individual will also assist with ensuring that deliverables meet client standards and expectations. The successful candidate may work on multiple projects simultaneously and be a team player. 

Responsibilities

  • The SAP CRM Technical Consultants will be responsible for configuring and developing solutions in the SAPCM (Customer Management / Customer Experience) for Utilities to meet business requirements. Specific responsibilities are:
    • Work collaboratively with project teams, business partners, functional analysts, and developers to ensure delivery of the best technical solution to complex programs
    • Work on the implementation of RICEFW objects
    • Assist with identifying project requirements through customer interviews, JAD sessions, and review of project artifacts
    • Ability to assess, document, and communicate current and future practices
    • Participate in business function analysis and process mapping
    • Develop new process documentation
    • Develop and/or update user and system maintenance documentation
    • Assist with system testing and debugging when needed

Requirements

  • 5 – 7 years of experience in S/4 for SAP CM for Utilities with extensive experience in implementing the RICEFW changes to meet the functional requirements via ABAP code changes, Component Workbench, Development experience of Fiori App for User Interface, Enhancements for technical and business master data objects. Implementation experience required in data migration using SAP BODs)   
  • Gas and/or Electric Utility Experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant experience may be considered
  • General consulting experience – assisting with running workshops; defining requirements; mapping processes, and developing technical specifications
  • Strong business analyst skills including an understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into the application and operational requirements
  • Experience participating in testing and validation of software and/or hardware solutions
  • Possess oral and written communication skills to assist with presentations to management
  • A team player with the willingness to assist coworkers on other projects as required
  • Familiarity with Microsoft based applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project)
  • Understanding of business analysis, project management, and system development lifecycle (Waterfall)
