Senior Services Engineer
As a Senior Services Engineer, you’ll be embedded within the Lead Generation pod that delivers the content of our consumer-facing web products, 55places.com and neighborhoods.com. Services engineers utilize a microservices architecture, and in a senior role you’ll be responsible for leading a small team of engineers in maintaining, improving and developing those microservices. Day to day, you will modify existing systems, take on ownership of current systems, and troubleshoot issues as they arise, as well as mentor more junior engineers. The Lead Generation pod uses a number of technologies, including PHP, SQL, and Python, to drive several high-traffic APIs. Additionally, the company has invested in creating an enterprise-level deployment setup, to make shipping code a breeze for its engineers.
Neighborhoods.com operates on the belief that the neighborhood and community you are a part of is so much more important than the house you live in, and we’re excited to come to work every day because we get to build tools that help people find their perfect neighborhood and home.
