Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain and support processes related to the implementation of Pareto solutions within client environments, which may include:
    • Requirement gathering
    • Code deployment
    • Customization activities
    • Defect resolution
  • Work in tandem with the Client Advisory team to deploy appropriate resources for implementation and guide day-to-day activities of the team
  • Communicate with client contacts – from developers to executives, as required, to ensure the alignment and successful implementation of the product

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • BA or BS in a relevant discipline (Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, etc.)
  • 5 to 7 years of applicable experience in managing technical implementation teams
  • Willingness to work with business contacts to understand the underlying business problems and prioritize concerns accordingly, in collaboration with the Client Advisory team
  • Hands-on release management experience in a mature Agile software development environment
  • Proficient use of tools (JIRA or similar) to implement project management best practices for release tracking and reporting
  • Experience managing technical projects with dispersed engineering teams
  • Experience in the following technologies or programming is preferred:
    • Spark, Storm, Kafka, Flume, Pig, Hive, Sqoop, Hadoop
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Eagerness to mentor/train developers
  • Complex Problem Solving – Ability to identify and troubleshoot problems by reviewing related information, evaluating options and implementing solutions
  • Critical Thinking – Ability to use logic and reason to identify strengths and weakness of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Deductive Reasoning – Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense
  • Inductive Reasoning – Ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (includes finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated information or events)
  • Quantitative and Analytical Skills - Ability to apply quantitative and statistical analysis techniques to unstructured problems
  • Quality Assurance – Ability to perform systematic self-review to ensure work product is accurate and satisfies its intended purpose

Successful candidate must be willing and able to travel to client sites, when necessary. Estimated travel is approximately 50%.
