Job Description SummaryWe are seeking an entry level developer to join our PLM Platform Team, to help develop new capability in Teamcenter that will transform how GE Aerospace designs and builds our next generation aircraft engines. In this role, you will be responsible for design, development, and implementation of Teamcenter based application configuration, customization and services, that enable a Model Based Enterprise and create a true Digital Thread flow of information. Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Participate in the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Gather and analyze data and develop architectural requirements at project level.

  • Participate in the infrastructure architecture governance model.

  • Configure and customize Teamcenter to support various engineering and manufacturing processes.

  • Integrate Teamcenter with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CAD, MES) to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all PLM activities.

  • Research and evaluate emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.

Education Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 1 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 6 years of professional experience

Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

Eligibility Requirement:

-Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.  We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.

Required Qualifications:

 Programming : C, C++, C#, Java, .NET (experience with at least one)            
 CAD/PLM : NX (or Unigraphics), Catia, Creo, SolidWorks, Solidedge, AutoCAD, Inventor, Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia, Aras  (exposure to at least one)            

Desired Characteristics:

  • Familiar in C/C++ programming and Teamcenter server-side development (ITK SOA), BMIDE, Java, HTML, XML, Webservices, REST framework and/or Active Workspace configuration and declarative programming.

  • Understands technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction

  • Understands concepts of software deployments and configurations.

  • Familiar with automation techniques and tools; including automated testing.

  • Delivers tasks on-time with alignment to architectural goals.

  • Identifies and raise issues, risks and benefits.  Resolves day-to-day issues.  Escalates issues that impact the client and/or strategic initiatives.

  • Participates in change initiatives by implementing new directions and providing appropriate information and feedback.

  • Strong problem solving skills.  Applies values, policies, procedures and precedent to make timely, routine decisions of limited, clear choice.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
