Optiver's Enterprise Operations team empowers our people across the organization to work as efficiently as possible and to collaborate on an increasing number of global initiatives with minimal friction. You will partner closely with Enterprise, Trading, and Business teams to identify, implement, and manage the tools that enable our best work. You will also play a key role in global application migrations and in developing end-to-end solutions that support our ambitious business goals.


What you’ll do

  • Engage stakeholders: Serve as the primary contact for technical and non-technical stakeholders, identifying their needs and challenges to refine processes and improve user experience.
  • Manage application configuration: Coordinate change, incident, and problem management, while defining and promoting configuration best practices for Enterprise Technology applications.
  • Administer core tools: Take ownership of our collaboration and productivity suite, including Jira, Confluence, Slack, Zoom, Box, Tableau, and more.
  • Enable collaboration: Maintain and expand collaboration platforms to support seamless operation across business, technical, and enterprise teams.
  • Provide technical guidance: Advise departments on using and managing enterprise applications to maximize tool effectiveness.
  • Troubleshoot effectively: Monitor, diagnose and resolve issues from alerts and user reports, ensuring system reliability.
  • Automate processes: Develop scripts and automation to reduce manual work, and review code to improve quality standards.
  • Evaluate solutions: Conduct due diligence on new external tools and integrations to ensure compatibility, security, and functionality.
  • Lead projects: Drive initiatives from design to delivery, including building integrations and incorporating third-party solutions.
  • Coordinate with vendors: Manage vendor relationships and ensure external providers deliver solutions in line with specifications and internal requirements.

Who you are

  • Technical proficiency
    • Skilled in configuring Jira, Confluence, Zoom, Slack, Box, and Tableau, including workflows, templates, integrations, and automation.
    • Experienced in managing software releases, updates, migrations, and application changes to enable smooth transitions and adoption.
    • Strong background in end-user support, troubleshooting, and training to enhance tool effectiveness and user proficiency.
    • Proficient in enforcing security standards, managing access permissions, and safeguarding data in accordance with company policies and compliance requirements.
  • Experience
    • Hands-on involvement in a variety of projects, demonstrating creativity in applying technological solutions.
    • Practical experience using business operation tools and scripting languages to solve problems, streamline processes, and improve user experience.
  • Soft skills
    • Pragmatic and logical thinker with a strong user-first, problem-solving mindset.
    • Able to identify clean, simple solutions with a collaborative and enabling approach.
    • Excellent communicator who can articulate technical and non-technical concepts clearly in writing and speech.
    • Thrives on change, seeking opportunities to step out of your comfort zone and take on new challenges.
  • Nice to have / Advanced requirements
    • Additional experience with AI tooling, scripting languages, advanced data analysis, or other project management and collaboration tools.
    • A continuous learning mindset and passion for exploring emerging technologies and integrating them into practical solutions.

Below is the expected base salary for this position. This is a good-faith estimate of the base pay scale for this position and offers will ultimately be determined based on experience, education, skill set, and performance in the interview process. This position will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus (if determined by Optiver) and Optiver’s benefits package with the benefits listed above.
