This is a remote position.
This senior-level architect will lead the design and optimization of enterprise networking and hybrid cloud infrastructure across a complex healthcare environment. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on network engineering expertise with strong experience in cloud connectivity, routing and switching, security, and infrastructure automation.

Architect and optimize enterprise routing, switching, WAN, and data center networking.

Design secure hybrid cloud connectivity using Azure ExpressRoute, AWS Direct Connect, BGP, and OSPF.

Lead integration of traditional networking, SDN, and multi-cloud environments.

Implement Zero Trust segmentation, ACLs, and network security controls aligned with HIPAA, HITRUST, and NIST.

Optimize network performance and availability for clinical systems, interoperability, enterprise data, and AI workloads.

Drive network automation using Python, Shell, Ansible, and Terraform.

Provide technical leadership for disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability architecture.

Partner with IT, cybersecurity, engineering, and executive leadership on enterprise infrastructure strategy.

8+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering/architecture experience.

Advanced expertise with enterprise routers, switches, BGP, OSPF, WAN, and network protocols.

Strong hybrid cloud networking experience with Azure and/or AWS.

Experience with SDN, Zero Trust, network segmentation, and infrastructure automation.

Strong communication skills with the ability to advise both technical and executive stakeholders.

Healthcare, Clinical Engineering/Biomed, and large enterprise infrastructure experience preferred.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
