Role Summary:
The Enterprise Principal Architect serves as a senior-level technology architect responsible for defining, shaping, and governing enterprise architecture across corporate banking and technical domains. This role drives strategic technology direction, ensures architectural consistency, and provides expert guidance to executives, engineering leaders, and product teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop enterprise architecture strategy and roadmap across assigned business and technology platforms.
• Influence and align technology direction across multiple business units, ensuring enterprise-wide consistency.
• Provide architectural mentorship and oversight across platforms.
• Present architectural proposals to executive audiences and review boards.
• Guide end-to-end solution architecture for complex enterprise and banking platforms.
• Lead strategic discovery assessments for modernization, cost optimization, and integration.
• Partner with business, product, security, cloud engineering, and technology teams.
• Drive product and platform strategies influencing investment decisions.
• Provide expertise in modern architectures including microservices, APIs, cloud-native design, and event-driven patterns.
• Evaluate and design solutions using multi-cloud platforms and high-availability models.
• Participate in design reviews with engineering teams.
• Provide post-implementation support and recommend improvements.
• Research technology trends to propose forward-looking architectural strategies.
Required Qualifications:
• Over 12 years of technology architecture experience with deep alignment to business goals.
• Experience with large-scale modernization programs and transformations.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD, multi-cloud, microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Fluency in multiple programming languages and modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience with cloud and legacy database technologies.
• Strong ability to influence executive strategy.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in financial services, especially corporate banking within Digital and Lending areas.
• Strong executive presence and facilitation skills.
• Familiarity with UI/UX principles for enterprise applications.

Pay Transparency 

The salary range for this position is $ 132,000 - $ 198,000 per year plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
