The Application Analyst II, Epic performs Epic application system analysis and design to include requirements, specifications, configuration, documentation, testing, and implementation of systems. Provides application support, troubleshooting, training, and reporting. May also support integrated third-party applications. Serves as a liaison between TSG groups, clients, and vendors.

The Application Analyst II, Epic Cadence/SER

  • Conducts foundational to intermediate analysis of Epic application design, including planning implementations and optimizing application use.

  • Resolves issues with minimal to moderate supervision, tracks issues, and provides updates to peers, leadership, and clients.

  • Manages assigned tasks and supports project work, meeting established deadlines.

  • Participates in requirements gathering and assists in design sessions with guidance.

  • Analyzes client business needs with direction from senior analysts.

  • Develops documentation and reference materials for supported applications and related technologies.

  • Develops working knowledge of assigned Epic module(s) and their integration with other systems.

  • Adheres to application change management processes, including documentation, communication, and support activities.

  • Tracks work effort, including time, tasks, incidents, and enhancements, and communicates status in a timely manner.

  • Participates in an on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Supports a positive and collaborative work environment and adheres to departmental standards.

What We Require:

Education: Associates degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare, business or minimum of 2 years may be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related experience.

Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Obtains and maintains a minimum of 2 vendor and/or industry certifications/proficiencies as determined by management following a primary Epic support application proficiency path. Must maintain a certification/proficiency in an applicable Epic module.

Other Minimum Qualifications: Must be a self-initiated team player able to work under minimal supervision, with strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Must be able to work both independently and in a team setting. Must facilitate a positive and collaborative work environment. Must be flexible and capable of prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines. Effective communication skills (oral, written, and presentation). Ability to collaborate with others, including clients and vendors. Must demonstrate dependability, accountability, adherence to documentation and departmental processes, appropriate escalation, awareness of clinical and compliance impacts, adaptability, continuous learning, and respect for confidential information. Must be able to work in a matrixed environment and understand bimodal work principles. Primary work schedule is Monday–Friday during standard business hours; role requires flexibility beyond standard hours, including participation in an after-hours on-call rotation and occasional travel.

Compensation Range:

$76,689.60 - $115,044.80

Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
