Job Description:

Reporting to the Global Financial Digital Controls Director, the ERP Transformation Digital Controls Manager is responsible for the design and implementation of financial controls as part of our ongoing digital transformation program. This position will work across multiple projects, systems and workstreams to ensure that Mars Inc. effectively leverages system automated controls (application and digital worker) alongside other control types and continuous controls monitoring, to deliver an effective and efficient control environment that improves financial risk management, stakeholder experience and auditability.

What are we looking for?
  • 4 - 6 years of experience in accounting, finance, or risk & control roles, with some experience working within SAP centric transformation programs, specifically designing, building and testing financial controls
  • Detailed business process and technical understanding of SAP ECC or S/4; SAP GRC AC/PC, Ariba, Blackline, PowerBI, Celonis preferred
  • Demonstrated background in internal controls (across all business processes), SOX, or audit is required, alongside strong organization, communication, analytical and presentation skills
  • Experience with privately owned, global, decentralized organizations
  • Experience with Big 4 public accounting, CPG, and manufacturing
  • Exposure to automation tools such as BluePrism and UiPath
  • Experience in human-centered design and/or design-thinking mindset and techniques would be helpful

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Understanding to-be business processes and identifying/defining control requirements for integration into design that leverage system functionality to drive automation and efficiencies / reduce manual effort
  • Design a sustainable, efficient and effective control environment that focuses on automation
  • Deliver ongoing multi-project activities related to financial controls, including the building of RCMs & test scripts, attending workshops
  • Support collaboration across ERP Transformation projects and workstreams, to ensure that end state control design is effective and aligns with corporate objectives while retaining consistency where possible
  • Perform ongoing tracking and reporting of automated control and CCM deployments across the various ERP Transformations, including identification of potential themes and trends
  • Support efforts to fulfill any Internal / External Audit requirements, including pre-implementation reviews, related to financial controls

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all locations listed within the job posting:USD 107,071.00 - USD 147,223.00
