Reverse-engineer Yardi schema and APIs to document finance entities and processes; reconstruct procure-to-pay and record-to-report flows; model flows into Gold-layer containers; produce source-to-target mappings and data-quality rules; define crosswalk keys with Procore and Oracle P6; steward finance KPI certification; support pipeline development, automated transformation testing, and reconciliation to Yardi system-of-record balances.
Key responsibilities
- Reverse-engineer the Yardi schema and APIs to document the general ledger, accounts payable, purchase order, invoice, journal, vendor, property and asset entities and their true relationships.
- Reconstruct the procure-to-pay and record-to-report process flows end to end, including the commitment, accrual, and period-close behaviours that determine when a figure becomes reportable.
- Model those flows into Gold-layer business containers linked to the Data Backbone, preserving the process context that raw extracts lose.
- Produce source-to-target mappings from Bronze through Silver to Gold, documenting transformation logic, business rules, reconciliation points and known data-quality defects.
- Define the Yardi contribution to DNA crosswalk keys (Project, Vendor, Cost Code, Asset, Entity) and resolve identifier conflicts against Procore and Oracle P6.
- Define data-quality gates and confidence scoring for finance KPIs and steward them through certification with Finance data owners.
- Support pipeline development, automated transformation testing, and reconciliation of Gold outputs back to Yardi system-of-record balances.
Required qualifications and experience –
- 5+ years hands-on with Yardi (Voyager and/or Elevate) in a data, reporting, integration, or finance-systems capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to reverse-engineer an ERP schema and produce an authoritative business-entity and process model.
- Strong SQL and data-profiling skills against large, complex financial schemas.
- Solid working understanding of core finance processes — procure-to-pay, general ledger, accruals, period close — and the ability to reconcile derived data back to the system of record.
- Experience producing source-to-target mapping specifications and data-quality rules for analytics platforms.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Yardi in a real-estate, data centre, or infrastructure operating environment.
- Exposure to medallion / lakehouse architectures (Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, OneLake).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Purview or comparable catalog and lineage tooling.
- Prior finance data-governance or master-data management experience.
Programme deliverables owned
- Yardi entity and process-flow documentation (incl. PO → Journal → Invoice model)
- Yardi source-to-target mapping specification
- Yardi contribution to DNA crosswalk-key definitions
- Finance data-quality rules, KPI definitions and certification evidence
