Job Description

Job Role: ETL Tester
Location: Deerfield, IL
Permanent/Fulltime

Requirements

6+ years of experience in manual\automation testing

3+ Experience in Cucumber and Selenium Automation Frameworks.

Strong coding skills in Core Java.

Experience in JMS Testing using soap.

Experience in ETL Testing.

Exposure on ETL test tools like Talend

Basic knowledge of PL/SQL queries.

Knowledge of capturing logs and writing shell scripts.

Good knowledge of STLC and SDLC knowledge.

Should be aware of various test metrics/reports.

Atlassian software products usage experience as JIRA would be preferable.

Knowledge of various API and UI automation frameworks

Good knowledge and experience of APIs and web services testing

Integration testing experience in the complex multi-systems environments

Experience with operating and preparing large data sets;

Team leadership experience

Experience working in the dynamic Agile framework

Excellent communication and work discipline

Qualifications

Responsibilities
• Analyze requirements, provide suggestions and improvements
• Create Test plan and prepare both manual, automation script scripts.
• Propose best practices and solutions to resolve the engineering problems
• Create and run both manual and automation test cases
• Create, classify, monitor and track the defects, verify fixes
• Setup test infrastructure and test frameworks,
• Define and track product quality metrics
• Apply various testing methodologies and techniques to ensure high-quality product is delivered
• On-board newcomers and guide less-experienced team members
• Collaborate with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, Dev-Ops.
• Participate in the sprint and release planning, requirements grooming, daily scrums, retrospectives
• Should have to intent break the functionalities.
• Active participation in all sprint and release related meetings.
