What You Will Do In This Role

As the Event Coordinator at Inflect you will serve as the operational "glue" for Inflect’s industry presence, project managing and executing on 8-12 external and internal events per year across the globe. From logistics, to vendor management, budget oversight, and travel coordination, your work will be integral in ensuring internal and external events attended by our team are a success. Events generally come in bursts, so when you’re not in "event mode," this role acts as the EA to the CEO’s right hand, executing on tactical pieces of the broader company strategy. This is a high-impact, hybrid role designed for a logistical mastermind who thrives on variety and precision.

Who You Are

You are far from an "order taker." You are a strategist at heart who happens to be a master of execution, thriving when you’re expected to bring ideas to the table and touch every corner of the business to understand how the gears turn. You are hyper-organized by nature rather than training; in fact, you likely have a visceral reaction to mismanaged projects or disorganized events in either your professional or personal life. Whether it’s a global conference or a small team dinner, you are the person who ensures the trains run on time, the branding is seamless, and every single detail is accounted for before it’s even noticed by others.

You see yourself as a "Force Multiplier," viewing your career growth as a journey through multiple skill sets, from marketing and sales ops to executive administration, rather than a single silo. You take extreme personal ownership of your work, often treating a project as if your own name were on the door because, to you, "good enough" is simply a failure. Others likely see you as the "reliable closer" and the person whose mere involvement guarantees a successful outcome because you refuse to let anything slip through the cracks.

Who We Are

We’re revolutionizing the way companies buy and sell digital infrastructure (Datacenter, cloud, and network services), and we’re extremely proud of that. Digital infrastructure services are the building blocks of the internet and at the core of every industry. Traditionally, it’s been bought manually through service provider salespeople, resulting in high costs, slow procurement cycles, and services that aren’t the best fit - slowing down the ability of companies to build and innovate. Inflect’s marketplace and advisory are removing friction so any company can get what they need, when they need it, with the right deal terms. By achieving our mission, we unlock businesses to build and human innovation to inflect!

Of course, we’re also a startup, and it’s important that you understand what that means if you work for us. We work quick, we work smart, we work hard, and the road to success is filled with some of the highest highs, but also has its fair share of lows. If you’re looking for the same thing day in and day out, this will not be the place for you. (And that’s totally okay!) We’re all owners of Inflect -full time employees receive option grants-, and we know that we’re the reason we’ll achieve our goals, or we’ll be the reason we don’t. So believe me when I say that we’re hell bent on achieving our goals. If this sounds like the kind of environment you would thrive in then we’d love to have you!

Day-To-Day Responsibilities

  • Overall project management of events. This includes:
    • Developing and maintaining conference playbooks, including schedules, meeting overviews, venue maps, and logistical details
    • Research & vetting of all events

    • Collaboration with external event teams
    • Post-event follow-up coordination, including logging contacts, leads, outcomes, etc. in Salesforce
    • Conducting post-event reviews
  • Admin to the EA of the CEO. This includes:
    • Assisting in expense tracking and submissions of expense reports
    • Support preparation of meeting materials and briefing documents
    • General administrative support to leadership as delegated, including calendar coordination and travel logistics
