ActiveCampaign is seeking a detail-oriented and execution-focused Events & Brand Specialist to support the planning, promoting, and delivering of events that enhance brand visibility, customer engagement, and employee alignment. This role plays a key part in executing our global events strategy, which includes customer activations, industry conferences and trade shows, internal programs, and strategic partnerships. You’ll help manage logistics, vendors, and timelines, support budget tracking, and ensure consistent, high-quality execution across all event types.
You’ll work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, customer experience, product, and people teams to ensure every event is aligned with our brand standards and business goals. From field events that drive pipeline to internal initiatives that build culture and connection, your contributions will help shape a cohesive brand experience that resonates with both external audiences and our global team.
What your day to day could consist of:
- Support the end-to-end planning and execution of virtual and in-person events, including logistics, vendor coordination, swag, and post-event follow-up.
- Manage bookings and logistics for ActiveCampaign customer education events, including venue sourcing, scheduling, and calendar coordination.
- Coordinate vendor and venue communications, oversee swag fulfillment, and support invoice and budget tracking.
- Track and fulfill employee swag requests in partnership with the People team and external vendors.
- Manage RSVP tracking, name badge printing, and ticketing platforms to ensure a seamless attendee experience.
- Monitor the event inbox, triage requests, and maintain clear internal communication across stakeholders.
- Assist with event promotion by coordinating assets with email, social, and content teams.
- Support event performance reporting and KPI tracking (e.g., attendance, engagement, impact).
- Maintain a shared calendar of events and contribute to internal communications that align teams around event goals.
What is needed:
- 2+ years of experience in event marketing, experiential marketing, or brand activations, including experience with trade show management.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and writing skills with a collaborative, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to work from our Chicago office 2-3 days a week.
- Passion for community, storytelling, and brand experience.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with tools like Asana, Slack, Google Workspace, or event platforms (Eventbrite) is a plus.
- Comfortable with traveling for sponsored in-person events (approximately 25% of the time) as well as occasionally working weekends or nights based on event needs.
