At Summit, we build and operate the infrastructure behind some of the most critical applications in regulated industries. The work is complex, expectations are high, and the environments we support require precision and thoughtful execution.

We specialize in enterprise-class Application Hosting, Managed Services, and Cloud Solutions, with deep expertise in compliance, security, and performance. Our focus is simple: make the complex manageable and deliver technology that works - reliably, securely, and at scale.

At Summit, we’re looking for people who can bring order to moving pieces, keep things on track, and help create experiences that feel seamless from start to finish. As an Events Coordinator, you’ll support the planning and execution of both virtual and in-person events that strengthen relationships, support business initiatives, and elevate the Summit brand experience.

In this role, you’ll help coordinate the operational details behind conferences, trade shows, customer events, webinars, internal meetings, and partner engagements across multiple business units and audiences. From vendor coordination and shipping logistics to event communications and onsite support, you’ll play a key role in helping events run smoothly while balancing timelines, budgets, priorities, and stakeholder needs across a busy event calendar.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments. Success in this role comes from staying proactive, communicating clearly, and bringing a positive, team-first attitude even when timelines shift or event details change.

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate logistics for conferences, trade shows, customer events, webinars, internal meetings, and partner engagements
  • Support the execution of 30+ events annually across multiple business units, audiences, and event types
  • Manage vendor relationships for venues, catering, A/V, transportation, shipping, swag, and event-related services
  • Support attendee registrations, communications, lead collection tools, and onsite check-in processes
  • Coordinate shipping, tracking, and delivery of event materials, technology equipment, and branded collateral
  • Build and maintain event timelines, budgets, project trackers, and task lists to keep initiatives moving forward
  • Partner with teams across Marketing, Sales, Product, Partner, and Operations teams to align event goals, messaging, and execution with company priorities and KPIs
  • Help manage and maintain an overarching enterprise event calendar to support visibility, planning, and coordination across the organization
  • Provide onsite and virtual event support, helping troubleshoot issues and keep events running smoothly throughout execution
  • Maintain inventory of event materials, giveaways, branded collateral, and event technology equipment
  • Manage the company swag store, including inventory coordination and fulfillment support
  • Identify opportunities to improve organization, processes, and the overall event experience

What You'll Deliver:

  • Well-executed events that create a polished and positive experience for customers, partners, and employees
  • Strong coordination across vendors, internal stakeholders, and operational event activities
  • Reliable execution of timelines, logistics, registrations, communications, and onsite support across multiple simultaneous events
  • Organized management of event budgets, materials, inventory, and deliverables
  • Alignment across business units and teams while maintaining a consistent Summit brand experience
  • Clear communication, proactive follow-through, and dependable problem-solving throughout all phases of an event

You'll Thrive in This Role If You:

  • Have 2–4 years of experience supporting conferences, trade shows, webinars, customer events, or related event programs
  • Are highly organized and comfortable managing multiple projects, timelines, budgets, and moving pieces at once
  • Communicate clearly and work well with both internal teams and external vendors
  • Can stay flexible and solution-oriented in fast-paced environments and tight deadlines
  • Have experience coordinating vendors, schedules, shipping, logistics, and event materials
  • Are comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and event or project management tools
  • Have experience supporting virtual or hybrid events using platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or Cvent
  • Pay attention to the details while still keeping the bigger picture in mind
  • Bring a positive, collaborative attitude and are willing to jump in wherever needed
  • Are willing to travel for events as needed (approximately 15%)

Bonus Point:

  • Have supported B2B or technology industry events and trade shows
  • Have experience managing swag, branded materials, or event inventory
  • Have experience balancing competing priorities across multiple departments or event programs
  • Enjoy bringing structure and organization to fast-moving projects
