Our Opportunity:
Chewy is looking for an Executive Assistant to support senior leaders in our Plantation, FL headquarters (hybrid model). To be successful in this role, you should be a confident, proactive go-getter with communication skills who thrives on making things happen and being part of a team.
What You'll Do:
  • Manage complex calendars and resolve conflicts effectively
  • Track key deliverables and follow-up on outstanding items
  • Manage domestic and international travel as needed; complete and submit expense reports
  • Work closely with the leadership teams, partner teams, and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization across multiple geographical regions
  • Produce and distribute correspondence. Research and create presentations
  • Assist in the development and implementation of office procedures
  • Work cross-functionally and collaboratively with the existing administrative team
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks
  • Manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Ad-hoc duties and special projects upon request

What You'll Need:
  • 5+ years of related experience supporting Executives in a complex and fast-moving environments
  • A high degree of professionalism with a customer service attitude and strong interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude with a 'no task too big or too small' mentality
  • Excellent communication skills, strong writing/proofreading skills including grammar, punctuation, and spelling via multiple channels phone, email, chat, and in-person
  • Ability to anticipate needs and proactively suggest solutions
  • Handle sensitive matters with the utmost discretion and confidentiality
  • Knowledge of Project Management Methodologies is preferred
  • Deep intellectual curiosity and strong willingness to work on a team
  • Willingness to take ownership and a practical approach to problem-solving
  • Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company information
  • Positive with a sense of humor
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Willingness to learn new tools/systems as needed
  • High emotional intelligence and trustworthiness with a growth mindset and desire to continuously learn and improve
  • A passion for pets and the improvement of the pet industry and market
