JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you a cord-cutter or cord-never who’s hungry for something new in local news? Tired of the same old formats and ready to reinvent how audiences connect with their communities?

We’re looking for a bold, innovative Executive Producer to drive our streaming news operation. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping the future of local news across FOX Local, FAST channels, and social platforms — creating fresh, engaging experiences for today’s audiences.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the Team: Guide a talented group of producers and hosts to deliver compelling, high-quality content.
  • Shape the Content: Design and execute a dynamic streaming strategy with live shows, breaking news, exclusive interviews, and original features for CTV, mobile, and social platforms.
  • Innovate Boldly: Push the boundaries of streaming technology and social media to expand reach and elevate the viewer experience.
  • Own the Numbers: Use audience insights to spot trends, refine programming, and grow viewership.
  • Raise the Bar Visually: Partner with production to craft standout visuals that grab attention and keep audiences engaged.

What you'll bring to the table:

       ·     Experience leading streaming content teams or producing programming built for digital and streaming platforms.

     ·    Comfort with live streaming technology — plus the ability to train others and a curiosity to keep learning and experimenting.

     ·    Strong grasp of news and current events, and a passion for informing and engaging audiences.

     ·    Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and inspire a team.

     ·    Sharp news judgment and confidence to make fast, sound decisions un der pressure.

     ·   Solid understanding of social media platforms and digital analytics.

     ·   A creative, forward-thinking mindset with a willingness to test new formats and technologies.
      •   Expertise in viewer engagement and social media platforms with a track record of audience growth.
      •  Ability to analyze data to identify trends and pivot strategies accordingly.
      •  Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to foster collaboration across departments.
      •  Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Communications, Digital Media, or related field preferred.
