- Analyze large sets of data to identify trends or patterns for a potential algorithm.
- Develop prototypes of algorithms in Python or proprietary languages to demonstrate functionality.
- Understand and provide support for currently fielded and legacy algorithms and FLM gateway
- Produce documentation outlining their analysis, development, and testing process.
- Analyze, Develop, and Design software development pipelines in accordance with System Requirements.
- Experience with Configuration Management Processes and Tools.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of six years of professional software development experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python and Java.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, TeamCity, or Bitbucket).
- Familiarity with configuration management software.
- Knowledge of data analytics and data science techniques, specifically applied to large, imperfect datasets.
- Extensive knowledge of software testing methodologies within ALIS environments.:
- Ability to work independently under general technical guidance.
- Willingness to learn and apply proprietary coding languages.
- Due to government contract requirements, US citizenship is required for this position.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Database Management: Proficiency in Oracle Databases and SQL.
- Tools & Methodology: Experience applying Agile workflows and utilizing the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket).
- Domain Expertise: Knowledge of the F-35 program and a strong understanding of aircraft maintenance practices and procedures.
- Communication: Proven ability to communicate effectively across diverse, multi-location teams.
