As a Fabricator, you play a key role in building and assembling the portable pumping units and welded assemblies that power essential water movement. Your craftsmanship ensures the quality, safety, and reliability of the equipment field teams and customers depend on.

This is hands‑on, high‑impact work — where precision and pride go into every weld, every piece fitted, and every system assembled.
 

🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be a critical contributor in our manufacturing environment, performing tasks such as:

  • 🔩 Fit, join, and fabricate portable pumping units and accessories using precise measurement and welding techniques.
  • 🔥 Perform MIG and stick welding on stainless and carbon steel components based on drawings, layouts, and work orders.
  • 🏗️ Move and position machinery using forklifts, cranes, hoists, dollies, and rollers.
  • 🧰 Dismantle and assemble pump units and related components.
  • 🔍 Inspect and correct welds to ensure they meet specifications and safety standards.
  • 🎯 Align shafts using laser alignment tools.
  • 🤝 Collaborate with coworkers on large assemblies and multi‑component builds.
  • 🧹 Maintain a clean, safe work area and participate in daily safety/toolbox meetings.
     

Every unit you fabricate becomes part of the systems that move, treat, and protect water — locally and globally.

📍 Location & Work Environment
  • Location: Carterville, Illinois
  • Setting: Manufacturing/production environment with daily teamwork and hands‑on fabrication
  • Focus: Pumping systems, welded assemblies, and equipment rework

💰 What We Offer:

  • The estimated salary range for this position is $24 to $28/hour.   Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills and experience.
  • 20 days  PTO from the start

🎓 What You Bring
  • 2–4 years of experience in welding or fabrication
  • Strong MIG and stick welding skills
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts, cranes, hoists, and similar equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, layouts, and work instructions
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality workmanship
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Preferred:

  • Forklift certification
  • Experience with pump assembly or industrial equipment
